  1. sorry guys, got dragged to the shops then had dinner. I got a bit heated before so apologies if i offended any1. We will all still stand together and support thr blues no matter what happens. Non of our opinions will change anythin, im happy to agree to diagree, but hope together that only good things can come from this. COYB
  2. bull shit mate, clubs are massive assets, why would the saudi's take over man city if it just a black hole for money. Thats utter bull mate.
  3. only united have done it without takeover. Without a "moyes" there is no second man utd, doing it off our own backs is a day dream.Get with the times mate, shits different now. I'd love it to be like the old days, but thats gone, wake up! Kenwright out!!!
  4. your happy to wait while more and more clubs do the same thing. The oil rich companys all need business's to clear there profits, reduce tax bills. What better asset to have than a premiership team. In a few years there wont be any teams left to take over, we wont be in the same league, all the top teams will be in a super league like rugby. Weve had our chance and lost it.
  5. thats on the "what if it all goes wrong" side of the arguement, but what if "it all goes right". As i said mate if your happy with 6th or 7th every season then carry on being happy to "make do". All's I want is a bit of glory for Everton, its been to long dangling infront of us. I started this thread with Kenwright has to buck his ideas up or bugger off, I still stand by this, we will go nowere with him at the helm!
  6. when did i saw he isn't a fan, he just has no desire to win.
  7. quite obviosly thats not true cos your still replying to me. Your honesty is in doubt now as well, your doin well mate. Are you going to keep going???
  8. maybe his layalty isn't but his desire to achieve anything is and thats what really matters. Gotta be in it to win it, if u dont want to win, dont play.
  9. looks like i stumbled accross an everton forum that dates back to the medievil days. I'll leave ya's to it i think, lost in your sad little world of "it'll do". So fuckin sad, i really hope that the 2 of you, matt and marco, are not season ticket holders at Goodison because it is such a waste of 2 seats if you are.
  10. same goes here marco, anything you type now'll have no impact what so ever. Sounds like youve been called on your loyalty a few times in the past, there must be some substance to it. Enjoy your grass mate.
  11. Marco, to come out with a comment like"the grass isnt greener" sugests your not a true blue. Do you not want success??? In life we all have to gamble to get anywhere. Are you really happy with coming 5th or 6th every season, just hoping to be higher than liverpool, cos i tell u what mate im not. I want us in the champions league and pushing to be league champioms. Ye it could go wrong, but on the flip side we could be back to kings of europe. Any1 who scofs at my last statement should go buy themselves a tranmere jersey cos we dont need half hearted support thanks.
  12. I get it nearlly every day to be honest with u mate, my birds hot. Im just trying to metaphore it up, put it in laymans terms for you cos u dont seem to get it.
  13. I disagree with that Matt, recently Man Utd havn't needed to break records 1 because they already have a very strong squad, and 2 the records are so high these days, its getting harder and harder to hit those sort of price brackets.Players are coming through the ranks and into the pro game younger and younger. Players like Walcot, how can a price be put on him as he is leaving the academy. Only Arsenal truly knoww waht his potential was as a child, no price tag of 30, 40 or 50 mill can be put on his head at that age. Ferguson has had players coming through the ranks that will be breaking other clubs transfer records in years to come. He hasn't had to spend that sort of cash on 1 player to keep it running smooth. An eaasy 10 mill here, maybe 20 there, it doesn't bother them, ts easy. Not for us tho, we cant spend 40 mill on 1 player because we need loads of players (or we will soon anyway). Thats what needs to cahange. We may still be able to gain those rich's from our own endeavours on the pitch, but without Moyes, I doubt it.
  14. ye but the backing wasn't good enough. we can break those records every day but if you dont buy the right players, no other records can be broken. We bought Mirallas for what, 6 mill, if 30 mill had of been in that pot at the time, would we of bought Mirallas or could we have bought some1 much better. Do you not get that matt, ye they backed him, but they didn't have sufficient funds to support him. Moyes had to make do with his buying.
  15. c its not like that at all you dope. Weve had Moyes for more than 10 years. If your Mrs didnt put out for 10 years would you keep trying,,er no, youd go get stuck into somethin else!!!
  16. For once?? mate even when we were battling against relegation we still had a strong 30,000 coming to Goodison for each and eevry game. We are always behind the CLUB, doesn't mean we have to be behind the BOARD. " completely differnt things mate
  17. I'm not ignoring the small bits at all, I'm over the moon that we are no longer relegation contendrs, to me thats the only small achievment we have made over the years and that has helped us to reduce the debt, but micro managing a Premiership team is not the way forward. The small bits just dont do it for me, we were the dominant force of europe in the 80's, no thanks to the red shite for putting a stop to that. We are nearlly there again, I hope with all my heart, whoever it is that takes over has the desire to keep the Moyes spirit and work ethic alive, I find it very hard to feel warm towards Kenwright, and trust that the new manager will have the cash to invest in replacing whoever else we loose.
  18. too late tho matt waasn't it. Needed it 4, 5 years ago.
  19. His own choosing because Kenwright had let him go as far as he could. If you had a fat Mrs and you were thinkin bout leaving her cos she's fat, then all of a sudden she realised she was fat, sorted it out and became a stunner, would you leave her, or think fuc8 me, im stickin round. You'd stay mate and I know u would!!! Its the same her, if Kenwright had of made it more appealing, maybe staying put would be his CHOOSING. Get ya head out the sand mate.
  20. but if the board are telling moyes he only has 3 or 4 mill to play with in the summer it seriously reduces the players he can look at, if he has 100 mill he can look at anyone and tempt them with big wages. Forget Blackburn and Pompy, what about Chelsea and Man City, have you forgotten about them???
  21. Every action has a consequence. Of course there is room for blame and negativity, we have just lost THE best manager in the world, to probably THE biggest and strongest(trying hard not to say best cos we all know the blues are the best) team in the world. Its sad as fu*k and I do and will blame Kenwright. Sorry.
  22. this arguement about breaking club transfer records is rediculous guys. Inflation for 1 thing, everything goes up in price all the time. Newsagents dont celebrate because they sold a bottle of wine today for more than they sold it for yesterday because thats life. Records will be broken all the time, if things are going well. We broke the record 3 times on players that turned out not to be worthy of that crown. Its a joke.
  23. Kenwight has let us all down, there's no 2 ways about it. Moyes needed cash, it wasn't given to him. End of arguement imo. Statistics are only ther to cover the truth with a white wash of false security, its only at times like now that the people with their heads in the sand dig and dig and dig to bury it even further. Thatcherism and Murdockism can both be blamed for destroying loyalty and passion within business and within the game due to greed of money. Without money in this modern world you are nothing. Passion, loyalty, trust, decency towards others, its all dying quicker and quicker in every aspect of life. Sadly. This is our problem and it has been for years. Kenwright is TOO passionate in a game that has lost it's need for passion. Rich people are ruthless, cold hearted and only passionate about 1 thing, their bottom line. Everton with Moyes must have been a very tempting investment for hundreds of multi millionaires, Kenwright turned them all away because.....well only he knows I guess. Its is his fault Moyes has gone. If we had been in the Champions Leagye for the past 4 or 5 years, think of the money and players we woulld have had. But we couldn't get there because Kenwright wouldn't give him the cash. Is that really that hard to see?????
  24. Physics states that it is 70 times harder to get something going than it is to keep it going. You can apply this logic to most things in life, anything from splitting an atom to starting an engine or business. We were almost ther with Moyes. He's gone for the easy ride at United and money in his back pocket was the deciding factor. Anything he achieves on the field, is a direct result of what Ferguson has left behind. He now has all that money to spend on a team that needs no additions, their reserves could keep them going for decades without spending.
  25. you do speak sense Haf. Unfortunatelly money speaks much louder than loyalty and desire. Unless you desire to get rich very quick that is I guess. With the right backing Moyes could become the next Sir Alex. He'll never be knighted for running in Sir Alex's shoes. Shame on you Moyes, a sign of weakness atlast.
