  1. Well after not going the Spurs game due to illness it has to be said i was looking forward to going this game, only to realise my illness aint clearing up so i had to sell me ticket :(:( . But on the game i think and i am sure many others do aswel that we aint going to win. Not sure but i think Mourinho hasnt lost at home in the league at home since he took over and lets face it we aint gonna start it.

    So the team for me:

    ____________Turner_________

    Hughes____Ferrari___Yobo____Neville

    _______Osman__Cars__Cahill

    ___________Beattie_______

    ___Anichebe______Faddy

    Subs:

    Wright

    JP Kissock

    Boyle

    AVDM

    Vidarsson

4-4-3, A couple of youngsters thrown in against the big boys and hopefully a bit of a match day experience gained by this. Even though i said we will get beat at the top:

    Chelsea 2

    Drogs

    Lampard

    Everton 4

    Anichebe

    Faddy

    Beattie (2)

  2. Like Goldy i'll be sittin in the gwladys like i do at every home game.

    team:

    Turner

    Hibbo--Yobo--Ferrari--Nev

    Ozzie--Cahill--Cars--Mikel

    Faddy--BT

    Bench:

    Ruddy

    Vic A

    Dunc

    Killa

    Nayce

Yes i would completely drop Dickie and for the rest of the season.

Neville played well at left back at Charlton so i would throw him back there again and continue to play Cars in the centre.

Throw Vic A after about an hour played (depending on result) to show the fans what he can do.

    Score:

    Everton 2 1 Spurs

    BT___________Keane

    Cahill

  3. Lower Gwladys' Report on days events:

Well after getting up at 6:20 in the morining  (obviously) to catch a 7:30 coach on priory road paying £48.50 for both coach and match tickets sustaining a 11 hour coach journey. I think that was utter bollox!

Dickie Wright's mistake was awful. How can a keeper not read the bounce. Beattie's effort being the highlight of the first half.

Second half we were better but really threatened. Arteta was off the pace today he kept slipping. I'd say Leon's header being our only real opportunity.

Lower Gwladys' 3 highlights of the day:

    1) Great banter between the Blues fans (Barnes coaches really) and Huddersfield fans at northampshire service station

    2) Our coach getting shot at upon entering London :o:o

    3) Finally at half time and i quote what the tannoy said "Could Michael Shields please contact his nearest steward":lol::lol:

  4. Right so lets move on and get back on form from what has been a poor last two performances.

I want to see changes made but i dont think any of these will happen.

I would throw Turner in goal for the remaining fixtures.

Gary Naysmith is really looking of the pace but you cant really blame him with him being out for so long. So at left back i would play Phil Neville although it aint his best position. i would throw Tim and Cars in the centre. Give Cars a go again for the remaining fixtures. i think he is a better passer of the ball than neville and maybe thats what is needed away from home. Mikel if fit enough on then left and the ever impressive Ozzie on the right. Beats and Faddy up top aswel. Looking good together.

Id have hibbo at RB and centre halves bein Stubbs and ........ Now there's a dilemma. would you play Weir because he has been so good at the back with stubbs or Joe. If Darren Bent is on up for it then obv Joe for his pace but his heart doesnt look at the club and i think he will be off in the summer. So id leave dat one up to moyes.

I shall be attending the game up in sunny London. Anyone else going??

  5. agree with that jon stead remark.

Fucking wright absolutue shocker even crap for teflon's standards.

Although one must question why we only played after they scored their goals! and why no urgency to get the 3rd goal at the start of the 2nd half, why wier and stubbs was broken up? Why was arteta not on the starting XI What was naysmith doing He was out of position for the 2nd goal!

Sunderland were good today, but we played them off the park........ for 1 whole minute

To answer the questions you ask Random:

Why no urgency to get the 3rd goal? I think that the team woke up this morning and thought it would be an easy day at the office. There was no passion in the performace and i agree certainly no urgency to get any goals.

Why weir and stubbs were broken up? Was Weir even on the bench? i aint sure couldnt remember i was still gobsmacked that Jon Stead scored.

Why was arteta not in the starting XI? Fuck knows. Surely he must have been fit otherwise Moyes wouldnt have put him on the bench. Again Moyes probably thought it would be a stroll in the park

What was Naysmith doing he was out of position for the 2nd goal? Gary Naysmith will never be the player he was before his injury. He used to bomb up and down the line and occasionly whip in a quality ball. Now he is below par and was out of position for the second goal. Im devastated Nuno is out for the season.

I dont even think Sunderland were good either. As the cliche goes i think we made them look good

  6. anyone care to give a report on the game?  didn't get to see it as only being shown on tv here later tonight...

how was yobo?  why couldn't we hold on for the win once 2-1 up?

Heres my report on the game and its not good.

Richard Shite had an absolute nightmare. We desperately need a new keeper and for the last few games give Turner a go. We have nothing to play for now (in my opinion) , we are safe and there is now no chance of us getting into Europe.

How was Yobo? Yobo didnt look arsed. He strolled around and didnt look like his usual self. That could be put down to confidence (well i would be low on confidence if a 101 yr old defender was keeping you out of the side) but he didnt look bothered.

James Mcfadden thought he was Pele today. He thought he could take on the whole world when the easy pass was the better option. He did take his goal well though. Could have had another though but the bar was in the way.

Why couldnt we hold on for the win once 2-1 up? We had Richard Wright in goal. That is all.

All in all a shit game and i expect an improvement against Charlton because i aint getting up to catch the coach on priory road at 7:30 for another performace like that.

Finally i am embarrased to say that Jon Stead scored his first goal of the season against us. Maybe he is like Les Ferdinand was to us, always fucking scoring against us.

  8. After the disappointment of last weekend - this is a must win game if we are to kick a euro place.

Shame Chelsea draw Liverpool in the Semi of the FA cup. As now who ever wins the other semi will get the UEFA place. A liverpool - Chelsea final would have made one more place in the UEFA cup.

I have got to go for a good Everton win

4-0 the blues with Beattie's first hatrick.

Isnt there already 7 places up for grabs in Europe because United won the Carling Cup and have qualified for Europe themselves

  9. A little bird told me that if we beat The Mackems there officially down

    Team

    ------------------Turner------------------

    Hibbo------Yobo-------Stubbs----------Valente

    Arteta-----Cahill------Neville---------Osman

    -----------Beattie-------McFadden

Subs: Wright, Nayce, Weir, Killa, Dunc

    Score

    Everton 2 0 Sunderland
