I think Robbie Keane is very good premiership players and will score goals however, with him only having six months left on his contract he is sure to be asking for £50,000 a week due to the reduced transfer fee. I just feel we have been missing real pace up front since Radzinski left and whatever you say about the little polish turd i.e he couldn't finish to save his life.He would open up teams with his pace and defenders were shit scared of him and that is what Johnson would bring. I don't think it's all doom and gloom. Confidence has to be high, and as everybody is pointing out their midfield is seriously lightweight. I'd certainly pack the midfield with Neville coming in for Arteta and Valente slotting in. As I've said before Wright frightens me to death and we seem to defend ten yards deeper when he plays whether thats due to him not telling the defence to push out, or its them worrying who they have behind them.I suspect a bit of both. I'll go for 1-1, Beattie to put us in front.

Yeah I deffo agree. I know there's a lot of people who want Keane but I think Johnson would be the better option. he's lightening quick, too good feet and his movement off the ball is top class. £5-6 million should get him, we could also offer Wright in the package??

I reckon he'll keep everybody barr Bent. If Moysie can get replacements I can see Wright, Mcfadden and Lie Tie going. These will probably go in the summer, January is always a dissapointment for deals. Personally I like Tie he keeps possesion and can spot a final ball but i agree with the lightweight comment.

Seen as we are a few players light for next week what would your team be?

I'd go for Turner in goal if Nige can't make it.I'd pack the midfield and play Beattie on his own up front, Neville would come back into midfield with Valente slotting in.

I'd rather sign Paul Gerrard on loan for the game than play Wright. The Arsenal game last year highlights my point perfectly we just drop off to the edge of the box and defend to deep. The defence is so worried that if someone gets in behind them its going to end in a goal. I hate slagging the lad but his decision making on when to come or not and commanding his penalty area are woefull.

Strikers are always judged on goals you should know that. If Crouch was playing for Utd and he was on this run of form you would rip the piss and rightly so. The undeniable fact is Crouch is shite, he's got a decent touch and with his size he should bring players in to play but he is clearly not good enough for club or country.

Got to be worth a go. Moyesie has already stated Wright will be going in the summer so he might just put Turner in. It'd be a gamble but so is playing Wright.

I don't like to knock the lad too much but it worries me to death that if Martyn is out for a few games our good run will come to an end. I can't see him going to Madrid, he's got a large family and I can't see him uprooting them for a year or so. I think we've got every chance of getting him.

I think Beattie's performances have been very good lately, he's putting himself about and his fitness is getting better.

I wouldn't give it him. I don't think he needs the armband you get everything Roy Keane brings regardless. I'd give it to Neville.
