That's a good point, as going back to previous flirts with relegation (last games v Wimbledon and Coventry) the team played as a team and it showed, they knew how to get stuck in

I'd prefer Rooney over Martinez - I can't see any benefit in the return of a manager it didn't work out a few years ago 

plus I'd imagine there is a big difference between managing club football and international football

I think that's the problem, he's buying the players, not the manager who would buy the players that would suit his way of playing, instead we have 11 individuals, not a team

Yesterday, when Coleman was sub-ed, the game was ideal for Patterson to come on - with his pace and (mostly) accurate crossing .. oh well ..
