I think there are 2 many keepers of similar ability its not worth spending a huge amount of money on a keeper it is whats in front of the keeper that matters most ok we don't want a shit keeper but to spend a possible 5 mill on a GK would be crazy maybe we should get Brad Jones or just get howard perm but no more then 2 mill

It is typical that he is very much available to us if we make a bid so why didnt moyes try and include Davies in some kind of deal to get papa I cannot believe we could ever sign him now moyes missed that chance when he helped fulham sign one of our players on the cheap Id rather have a player like papa for good then some over priced player use us for 6 months then sign for another club in the summer

Beattie is a victim of being advised badly since our top class coaches told him he needed to be a physical type player they ruined him. At southampton he wasnt that type of player and scored goals from outside the box maybe JOL knows he has ability and can mend the mess weve made him into I know I suppose to support the team but we have a habit of turning so called good players into poor players with our style of play How the hell is beattie and johnson not a good partnership ?
