  1. There are soo many things that bothered me last night I really am amazed how tactically inept we looked against 9 men.

Why do we play long ball when are stikers thrive on through balls?

Why did we suddenly switch to a 433 when we haven't player it all season?

Why was Aj alowed to take 2 Pen's when his confidence is so low?

Why Against an inferior side did we play 2 defesive Centre Mids?

How on God's earth can Moyes not see that neville is a complete joke and is not even close to being good enough

  2. I don't believe Aj threw a tantrum he doesn't stike me as the type even when he is getting chopped down in penalty areas he doesn't complain.

My otehr though is as well as Faddy looks he hasn't done all that much for EFC. I would like to know the stats of aj's shots on goal because I bet he has had a whole raft of chances as soon as one pop's in so will 5 I still reckon him and yak will get 30 between them this season.

More to the point doesn anyone know what the actual team will be.

  3. There are some opinions on here that are really out of touch:

    1. Why do we want to go back to a 4-5-1. We have 3 class stikers and 2 ok prem stikers.

    2. Our midfield should be a blend of creativity (arteta) good tackling and marking (Jags) and the ability to get goals (Cahill).

    3. Neville is not a midfielder and should not get a look ni.

  4. I have to say Neville would just not be in my first 11 as for his spirit and ability to be captain. Those things are of no use when he constantly loses posession. I do find it rather scary that moyes cannot see what is plainly obvious. I can't see any tangible contribution that he makes in CM.

If you have to play a ball winner then carsley or jags are your man. I would also put hibbo at right back, and I agree that moyes thinks the same and that is why he plays there ahead of nev. Talking of untouchable players I think cahill is one of those and hopefully jags is now so that should be the first choice midfield partnership.

I am surprised piernaar is not being given more of a go.

  5. I have always thought as a solid prem right back hibbert does an pretty good job. Looking at the alternatives and what that would lose us in other areas I would go with Hibbo all the time. Jags needs to be played in the mid with cahill to get a defensive attacking partnership going. Neville is just not good enough.

  6. I think we are being unfair to faddy I think he needs a good run in the team in one position. Granted it will take injuries to get that run But i actually think give him 5-10 games and he could be a really good player.

What I like about our supporters is no ones once to give faddy a chance based on past performance but then again AJ works hard but hasn't scored in 5 games when beattie worked hard last season but didn't score everyone wanted to drop him.

  7. No matter what your opinion on the summer transfer dealing you have to say our squad is great on paper. Two proven prem strikers a midfield with a good blend of youth and experience (And with experience in euro comps) and a defence imo as the stongest outside of last years top two.

  8. I do think the whole thing is very weird. If they did it where did they hide the body for 25 days bare in mind the the media were pretty much following them everywhere also when would they find time to dump the body it's not like they can dissapear for 3 hours without someone asking questions.

I do think the biggest shock in all this is how can "loving parents" leave 3 children under 4 alone in a dark apartment and go and drink 400 yards away in a different building. I am about to become a dad and I don't think I would let my children out of my sight at that age never mind get hammered in a separate building.

To be honest whether they did it or not they should be investigated for that sort of neglect they are not totally innocent in the whole thing.

  9. Moyes has seen something in jags and his trying to make him into a roy keane type player. He is a solid defender in terms of tackling and he is a more than adequate passer. With him scoring 4 goals last season I have a hunch that moyes might be trying to make him into an allround midfielder a bit like the player he thinks neville is (But isn't). I think he has the potential to be very good in this role.

  10. The more I think about it the more I love him as a signing. He loves the club his attitude is spot on he is creative and never gives the ball away. As a last gasp replacement to many FOR FREE I think he will be first team pretty much straight away.

I think with Grav, Jags, Cars and cahill fighting for places that is a pretty strong 4 players for two places. I know nev is loved by moyes but I much prefer him at right back where his hoofed clearances are better needed.

  11. I am pleased as punch to have tommy back. I know he will now be considered a squad player but I think he brings alot to the midfield that we don't have much of.

He is creative doesn't give the ball away and can tackle. He would also rather keep the ball and pick a pass rather than pip and cars who launch it given half a chance.

I also just love to see him get the ball he always looks a threat. not sure why it didn't work out at celtic.
