  1. Although Im from South West and Live in Sussex - Im still a blue through and through in spirit!

I was born on 28th Oct 1978 - The day Andy King scored the winner against the Red Shite...100 years from when we were formed - Coincidence! started supporting them from the 1986 cup final as I prefered the Blue kit to the Red and Gary Lineker was my hero at the time, before Mexico '86....Ah, to be 7 again!

The majority of my family are stupid, and support the shite, and obviously tried to force their views on me aswell. I didn't really have much of interest in football when I was a young kid because I wasn't really encouraged into sport (funny now, because I'm a PE teacher).

I can remember the exact moment when I became a blue.

Liverpool v Roma 1984 European cup..... Grobelaar wobbling up and down the line... and a 5 year old me turned around to my red family and said the immortal words..... 'He's stupid..... I'm never ever supporting these '

And do you know what... I never did!

    Haha! Funny as :)

  2. personally i would take him, when he is fit and what not he can be a little bugger on the wing.

also if he isnt demanding to big wages i dont see why not and aslong he stays out of trouble

    i would accept him.

He is cocky, arrogant and does not fit into the Everton team ethic. Unless he can become more of a team player, is willing to play where and whenever WE need him and accept a substantial wage loss. I wouldnt want him near GP.

Heard Barmby wants to return...Lol :P

  3. where do we go from here? We let the people so opposed to a move to find us a financially viable location, with the interests of the club (not the location) in mind that won't bankrupt us. I wait glued to my seat to see what they would do now....

Exactly. Short sightedness and nostalgic feeling may cost us being a big club again...Lets just stay at Goodison and gradually perform at a level that our finances and turnover allow....Hope people are happy to be a mid table club, but at least we are still at Goodison!

  4. To be honest not worried about if Kirkby happens or not the thing that worries me is the short term problem and regardless of what people at Everton have said this must have an effect on Everton in the short term and transfers.

Can see very limited signings coming in now.

At the end of the day the club said that transfers were not connected to the stadium but no transfer have come in before the decision so make of it what you will

As usual..The one logical decision that can help us and our club in the long term pushes us back again. Is it surprising really? As for the people who didnt want the move out of the city boundaries...Well you have your wish, but its the long term progression of our club that suffers. We will either give up on this and back to square one again or do this but be even more behind schedule. Transfers and investment will suffer and again we will be the subject of negative publicity whilst the red shite swan through there new ground and sign quality players.

Can we get some good news at any point this pre-season as since the end of last Its been bad news, shit results and losing players.

I dont post much and sorry to be a bit negative but as a supporter who loves there club it hurts, but like any real SUPPORTER Ill back them no matter what

As usual its all smiles being a blue. :(

    WCT ;)

  5. I sincerely hope he doesnt go but the reality of the situation with him staying whilst squad travel to US says it all, the writing is on the wall...Unfortuantely we are going to be another good player down and no-one to replace him. Yea 10.5 million is good money....but whats the point in money if your not gonna spend it?? Top ten is looking best bet at moment... <_<

  6. We were always going to be under the cosh with players missing and 1-0 was not bad on the day. I was wholly pissed off with Andy Gray "I don't know what sort of manager David is but he needs to have a go at them at half time". Ok Yak particularly and a few others might have needed a kick up the proverbial but we were severely lacking in options with all the injuries. At least Jamie Redknapp was the voice of reason and gave reasoned opinion on our performance. I'm going to be happy with a UEFA place again as I think we would be a laughing stock in the CL assuming there is not money to strengthen the squad. Let's get behind the team for the rest of the season to make a Uefa place again.

Good comment Gwlad. We need to cement 5th place now. A good performance against a Derby side relegated is what we need. We have a good side when we have the best players available, but when we are short coz of injuries etc we are like a lot of teams...AV, Man City etc. Its when we have the best TEAM available that we can compete...Our squad is not strong enough to back up and compete with the top four.

Lets back the blues to a top five position. After all its only one place below the red shite who spent £21 million on one player than we spent on our recruitments and without him they could well be in 6,7,8th position etc.

Unlucky Blues but we learn every season and can be stronger and wiser with a bit more investment and experience in europe ready for all fronts next yr.

I WILL make Goodison as well next season! (Seen them three times away this yr before I get criticised!)

  7. haha i may aswell complete the set

have the home shirt with yobo 4 on the back

the away kit with lescott 5 on the back

and as of 2 hours ago in town i just purchased the 3rd kit with fernandes 23 :D

Im Sure Faddy will still get one...Just he hasnt got an excuse to wear it anymore! :P

  8. Tottenham's deal...

    http://www.inside-edge-mag.co.uk/pokerlife...nsors_team.html

    From our article:

I think that means we get the £8m for the three years whereas Totteham get £34m for the four, which basically means that one of the clubs with who we are directly competing with are still a whole lot richer than we are.

If this is true, why are we not getting nowhere near as much as the Yids? They cant be that much more marketable surely?

  9. We are playing poor but we cant get any worst surely? Lets hope we can turn it around.....We still have 45 mins to firstly get one goal, then we are still in the tie.

Swap Pienaar round with Arteta, Bring Carsley on to shore up midfield in place of ossie, leave it 15 mins and see how Yak and Fad get any better service if not Yak off for Anichebe who will put more pressure as a first line of defence and bingo we are in the group stages!

  10. I hope that with all that is said above from ICLiverpool isn't just a media slant for sympathy for VDM. I sincerely hope he moves forward and can produce some positive moments and a decent contribution to EFC. I believe he will, and obviously Moyes does too. Otherwise how many chances does he have left, not just for us but football in general.

A different situation but that Martin Laursen from Villa was injuried for 2 yrs and has now come good.....Probably there best player this season so there is hope!!

  11. Baines is awsome again here . him and lescott and yobo need a good RB and wed be a much tighter defence .

we miss arteta and cahill so much

please fuck neville and hibbo off

Hibbert is shocking. Why cant we just drop him. His distribution is atrocious. Why am I posting this....We already know this - Because it pisses me off he still starts EVERY FUCKING GAME.

  12. We dont half get some negative people on here. We made a good few signings, missed out on Fernandes which was a shame - but brought in Graveson as a good squad player who knows the EFC way and can chip in with assists and experience.

Lets support the club not knock it all the time We bought two good young English players, A top quality striker and a few squad players to boost numbers....All in all a good summer. IIt might turn out to be a blessing not bringing in another new player, too many could just upset the dressing room, If we have a bit of luck with injuries we will come good, we have a good team ethic and a solid team, A top 6 position, and a good run in the cups is a progression and a step in the direction of consistency.

  13. We must be getting a fair following in Nigeria now I'd have thought....'bout time we attracted some African members. Problem is they're all out in the street playing footie while us "first" worlders sit at our PC's talking about it :D .

Haha. Very good. Lol. Lets hope we dont depend too much on these three come Jan, otherwise we will need more players on loan for a month to replace them!

  14. There is something on the website - Says about an agreement for 6 seasons, 60 Mill Euro buy out clause etc. If thats what you mean?

Its not cut and dry though......He has to have a medical. I dont know how that works. If he has already signed a contract and fails the medical does that mean they are stuck with him? Thought it was always a medical first?!

Sorry if this has been posted before.

  15. I didn't expect the club to publically criticise a player like this, looks like he will be out of Everton by the 31st.

I totally agree to the above. I for one, thought of him having one last chance and seeing him do well this season but yet again another dark cloud hangs above him.

Only thing is how do we get rid of him? Lets hope a club want him and we can get him out. Even if its on loan to someone like Burnley for the season, then if he plays and improves his worth we could even get some money for him at end of season! (I know its not realistic but its possible!) B)
