Was that for me, Licker?
-
So the first time we hear something from the OS first it's to do with THIS!? ffs
-
So what is the solution, steve? What can we do to get us out of this position?
-
Andy Gray all the way.... twit.
-
Hey there. Welcome to TT.
-
Welcome to the board!
-
Made me chuckle
-
I think it's the use of "ass"
Good effort, Licker. On both.

I was born, bred, and raised about 500 yds away from the wigwam before it was built, down Brownlow Hill towards the City centre, and used to play on there when it was a derelict site, the whole area was covered in crypts and tunnels to play in.
Cant exactly remember what used to be there before.
For those who dont know what we are talking about, and how it got its name, here it is.....................
lol, you had a kick about and then years later I took some exams in the same place near enough
-
Yeah, plus this new idea of overseas Prem games and we'll be left with a handful of clubs in the next few decades. Hurrah for selling the soul of football
-
Yeah... EFCfanatic, thank you! There are benefits to this for us, especially since Moyes has been able to pack in more quality, squad-wise so it's only a good thing as far as I'm concerned.
Also, I remember both Benitez and Mourinho calling for this last season and the season before as they were used to it on the continent.
-
HAHAHA! Wow... that was a serious question? Shocking on so many levels...
-
I dunno, Licker... even with the scouting team we still only have limited funds and we definitely need to have the money in the summer to secure Pienaar and Fernandes. Gotta side with prudence on this one
-
I think Baines at LM should definitely be considered as Ossie has looked unable to really play a full 90 since coming back; he needs a rest, or at least a sub appearance or two IMO. Also, does anyone remember how Vaughan and AJ played together last season? If we can get that partnership to rival Cahill and Yak's then we'll be flying!
The line up I hope to see:
............................HOWARD..........................
NEVILLE.....JAGIELKA.........YOBO.......LESCOTT
ARTETA.....CARSLEY...........FERNANDES.... BAINES
.................JOHNSON..........VAUGHAN.................
Then the bench could be:
Wessels
Hibbert (dunno if he is fit) OR Valente
Ossie
Yak
Anichebe

Agreed. Hopefully there'll be no dodgy linesman at this game eh <_<
-
If he leaves him out and we drop points to a poor Reading side AGAIN, then, well... both player and manager will be in for all kinds of abuse from fans.
-
Fair enough to the above post. It is a particularly vague article. I just hope he has only gone to see his family.

Come on Yakski.... come on home

Jesus Christ, this is just another thread that typifies the ignorant approach to football by most people in this country...
...
Dont get carried away Calico its you that needs to keep a level head, if you go to the start of the thread its about whether four players could enhance your team better than one for the same price, the amount of money is immaterial and just used as an example, it could have been £100 million, but the theme of the thread is still the same.
Would 4 players better your team more so than one.
Who's showing their ignorance, and whats happened to level heads ey. ??
Yeah, when people are praising Ronaldo like he is Gods gift to football then my little rant pales in comparison surely? Just post after post of awe.
I was ignorant in terms of ignoring the main use of the thread, but the ignorance in footballing terms showed by others concerned me more. Sorry.

I think Miguel Veloso skippered them in the Championships last summer.
-
Not sure about this!.....isn't it stated somewhere that Kenwright, who perhaps doesn't put money into the club, also doesn't actually take any money out!
Don't the Yanks want to take profit from luckypool, and fund their other interests?
Why did Aston Villa not do business with the wonderfull Texans
Doug Ellis has gone on record as saying that he didn't want all of his hard work down the drain by them taking the club into debt.
-
erm... how about if the team stopped playing with the fear that has gripped them recently following that wonderful run of games when we were actually playing decent football? I personally think it is less to do with Arteta personally and the rest of the team not taking his lead from last year.
Oh Shit - Yakubu
