  1. Hi guys,

Few questions regarding season tickets - tomorrow I'm ringing a chappy back from the club abot buying one.

Im consideringthe Lower Bullens, Paddock and the Top Balcony.

Would you guys recommend these (they're the cheapest 3 which is one reason why I've shortlisted them).

Another point is - the season ticket would obviously be purchased for next season, however, due to where I'm living (Channel Islands) I'd be lucky to attend 1 game.

The reason I'm getting the ticket this season, is as I can easily renew it next April, as during March-July 2009, I will be travelling and the option of fillin out forms won't be so easy, howver, I can jsut get a relative to sort out my renewal. In September 2009, I am moving to L'pool for uni, hence the season ticket.

I'm not bothered about paying 300 odd quid for the ticket and not using it for the season - what I need to know is would this bother the club? Would they say come renewal time - well you haven't been to a game this season - we don't want you reneweing, or will they just be happy to get my cash?

Any help would be really appreciated guys

    Thanks v much

NB - I hope Ramsey comes to Goodison - be a real coup to get him ahead of Utd and LFC

  2. I'm sorry mate but Fernandes was terrible. As was Neville. As was Gravesen when you came on.

I'm gutted - could have seen Everton win here, but with a squad like the one Moyesy has put together (good as it is), always gonna struggle losing players.

Losing TC17, Osman, Arteta and Vaughan at the same time is just incredibly unfortunate. If you'd had them I think you'd of beaten that shit Chelsea side.

  3. Seen Hoyte's name bandied about on this thread. Definitely you need to sort out the RB position, but Hoyte isn't the answer for the Toffees.

Everton should and will compete with Liverpool next season for 4th, and to do so you shouldn't be looking at a player like Hoyte to come into the starting XI - he's pretty pacy and a nice lad but defensively gets ripped to shreds and is as pedestrian in attack as Phil Nev or Hibbert.

Chimbonda would be a possibility - unsettled at Sp*rs now Hutton is 1st choice and a pretty decent player.

Think signing Pienaar is a must - looks like you're sealing a £2.2million deal - fucking bargain!

Then ye - Arshavin- that calibre of player is what Everton should be looking at I think - there is no reason why the Toffees cant attract this high quality of player.

  4. Is the board going to get this guy on a permanent deal? I didn't realise until tonight how superb his workrate is!

Really quality player - I'm hoping he can stay beyond the loan deal as he offers a lot in terms oof delivery and technique, as well as versatility.

Come on Toffees (proud to call you my 2nd Team :D )

  5. Cahill was quality today - you have yourselves a very rare and valuable commodity in him - the goalscoring mid-fielder.

Furthermore, yes, his passing, touch and link-up has improved, but what really strikes me about him is his work rate. Its pretty phenomenal to see a supposed goal-scoring playmaker working back hard and making tackles and crucially making the hard yards.

Cahill is a quality player and would push for a place in most Prem teams.

  6. Well with regard to what Channel Island - it's Guernsey. I'm actually having a gap year before uni because I'm travelling so I won't be getting the season ticket for next season but the one after.

By the sounds of it, I won't have any trouble getting the season ticket which is great - can't wait to watch the Merseyside derby. And when Arsenal come to Goodison I'll be keeping very quiet.....

  7. As you may have guessed from the username - Im a Gooner.

But Im going to Liverpool Uni for my degree - f**kin amazing city by the way! - and I obviously wont be able to watch Arsenal as its too far away.

But being from the Channel Islands (waaaay down South) I rarely have had the chance to watch live footy. So while Im at Uni I want to get a season ticket for a Prem team.

Everton is the obvious choice for me - play nice footy, some quality players and by all accounts the atmosphere at your place is pretty intense.

But what I wanna know is how easy it is to get one and how much one would cost?

Will I be able to apply for one this summer and get one for the coming season? Im 18 years old if it makes any difference. And also, once I've payed 'x'-amount for the season ticket, do I have to pay more on top of that to get into the games?

Cheers guys - any help would be much appreciated :thumbsup_still:
