  1. Valencia vice-president Fernando Gomez has confirmed he has left a decision on Nikola Zigic's future in the player's hands.

However, reports from Spain now suggest that Aston Villa, Everton and Sunderland are all keen to sign Zigic on a season-long loan.

Zigic and his agent are expected to meet with Valencia on Monday evening to discuss his imminent exit from the club.

Gomez told skysports.com: "The exit of Nikola Zigic is next (to happen). "Now, the decision corresponds with them (Zigic and his agent) and Valencia is prepared to close the deal."

  2. Well, important 3 points for the team and especially for us fans. It´s right we still have to sign to fill our squad, but we should stop being so pessimistic about everything. We still have a strong team and can beat someone, we shouldnt forget to trust in our "Toffees!

  3. In my opinion, its either

    1) Moyes is a lazy bastard who needs to get off his arse and enter the market

    2) Weve got no money coz of fckin kirby

    3) Moyes doesnt want to risk spending loads for a shite player like he did with per koldrup or beattie

Lol, your first option is absolutely bullshit in my eyes! The market isn´t easy these days and it´s not so easy to get in the players he wants to join us!

  4. It´s to early to vote for that things. Voting isn´t correct yet for me cause the transfer period havent ended yet, if the first period of the market is close and the starting 11 for the first rounds of every team are standing, everybody should vote what he thinks!

At the moment I saw Everton everywhere in the table, but not around the TOP 5. If we sign M´bia, Smith, Love and maybe Fletcher/Cana/Moutinho, this will change and I see us in TOP 5 again!

  5.

"Newcastle's Smith, who was booed by his own fans on Saturday, will join Love at Goodison Park but the spending won't stop there, and Everton are hopeful they will add Real Zaragoza striker Diego Milito, Rennes midfielder Stephane M'Bia and Joao Moutinho of Sporting Lisbon to their squad before the window closes."

Hm, if all that will really happen it would be absolutely great, Moyes said the truth then and really sign his 5 needed players then and we would be definitely ready for the new season!

  6. Everton defender Nuno Valente has backed the club in their pursuit of Sporting Lisbon midfielder Joao Moutinho.

The Portuguese Liga club have since stated that Moutinho will not be leaving Estadio Jose Alvalade this summer. Valente, however, is hopeful that Everton will succeed in landing the 21-year-old as he believes his compatriot will add much to David Moyes' current squad.

Valente: "We need players with quality. Everton is a team already that has quality and we need to add to that. Moutinho, of course, is a good player and he is someone that I know. He was a star at Euro 2008 for Portugal.

He is sharp, he plays good football and he drives his team forward. He is also a leader - if he wasn't, there would be no way that he would be the captain of a big club like Sporting at the age of 21.

If we spend so much money on a player like him, he would pay it back in the next few years. I would like to see him here because he is Portuguese, but the reason I would want to see him here most is because he is a good player and will improve us."

Well, Valente will of course know him enough and maybe he´s right what he´s saying, but that amount of money sounds just too much for me personally!

  7. i keep forgetting we have to play PSV in two days time.

how do we all think we will go against them?

I would be happy with a draw against them, our pre-season is really shit! Nothing is going on like we thought 2 months ago!

  8. Well okay, July is over now and theres not much time left to the liga start! So if Moyes will really sign around 5 players, he should really do in the next days or there will be a big problem in the first games defenitly.

And if that will happen, I am going to eat my house and my flat too: :o

Moyes is on the brink of a deal to bring Portugal midfielder Joao Moutinho from Sporting Lisbon for around £16m, and is also tracking Spurs striker Darren Bent and Real Zaragoza's Diego Milito. (PA)

  9. Were meant to be setting a good example for Everton and were ment to be showing that we are one of the best clubs in the premier league not getting beat 2-0 by Chicago Fire. Yes we didn't have a strong team out but am still dissapointed at the scoreline.

This is getting worrying. Get Signing MOYES!

    100% Agree!

This is getting very worrying, it looks like a very very poor performance in every game, you always have to win this kind of games and at minimum a few pre-season games if you have so much like us. I´m getting a little bit afraid with the time, its not acceptable...

  10. In the future of the Swiss midfielder Valon Behrami (23) there would always be more Premier League. Dead West Ham alternative, during last hours has appeared even Everton interested in the player. Behrami is observed also by other two German teams Werder Bremen and Wolfsburg.

Well, it´s nearly the same thing then with Lichtsteiner... But I really like this player, he played a fantastic EURO and would also be an interesting signing, would also love to see him at Goodison! He also have a good technique, I just like this type of player and think he can show good Premier League football.
