  1. Ok hear me out!

We now have the biggest points haul we have ever had in the premier league at home! That on its own is some achievement for our new manager in his FIRST! Season! With only a couple of his own signings and the rest of bobby clown shoe's squad! Look at other teams around our position who have spent way more than us and what they have achieved with there respective managers. I for one is very excited to see what big Ron can do with us in 3 seasons. The only way is up from now me thinks. We finally have a manger with the balls an grit to put our great club back on the map! The transition has began an this is the first step on the roller coaster we all have to ride! Next season is probably the biggest season we will have in years to establish our selves back amongst the elite and I think this season has shown signs where not that far behind! Well done Koeman and his staff. Cant wait for what's in store next year. Most excited I've been for years! COYB!

Thoughts on this season and what's next blues? Can we be the next Spurs?

  2. Things I've been wrong about:-

We would struggle to get our money back.

    We will clearly double it.

Don't really know what else I've been wrong about. His touch is still shite. Albeit far better than I thought it would be - it is still fuckin poor for a prem footballer and if you tell me otherwise then you are talking shite.

Records tumbling? What records??? That he's scored more than the shite we bought in before him? Because that's all it points to and it's embarrassing for the club that we are getting carried away because we have someone who has broken the 20 prem goal mark.

Unfortunately I had the misfortune of hearing a red shite fan take the piss out of an Everton fan (They were mates having a pint).... the Everton fan was laying a bet that lukaku would get golden boot and that the red shite was just pissed off they never had a player who could score goals at the rate of lukaku.

Next thing the red shite names sturridge, Suarez, Torres, Owen, Fowler.... 5 players who he seen score more than lukaku. Not good is it.... next he said "you will probably bring out a DVD for it"

I genuinely hope many of you have enjoyed watching him - I've argued my case for why I don't rate him as highly and it still stands why. The reasons haven't gone away - much of it is because of his attitude a bit of it is down to technical deficiencies.

I haven't been able to enjoy him - not because I've nailed my colours to the mast - I'm a bigger person than that. He has made it difficult for me to like him because he doesn't get Everton- he doesn't respect us the way he should.

That aside he has never shown me for an extended period or certainly in key games that he is a man to be relied on. He does it when he feels like he can do it. He is easily beaten psychologically by the better centre halves and he let's his team down.

I enjoyed Rooney - no player has ever come close to giving the buzz I got from watching him and I was sick to the stomach when he went - absolutely gutted. He had that x factor that ive not seen before in a blue shirt.

Lukaku may end up getting 25 prem goals this season. It will take his average to something like 16 or 17 per season for us. I honestly believe that we will get a striker in who can improve us in this team by selling lukaku... simple as that.

Haf I sometimes laugh at your hate towards Lukaku but I get it. He isn't a blue like us who loves the club year after year but what he is is the best striker we have had in years and where talking a lot of years! He's here to score goals he's a striker! Yes his touch isn't Zidan like his all round game and effort isn't Ronaldo like! But he dose what a striker is there for and scores goals. That's what he's there for and he dose that better than any striker in the league and he's only going to get better. The lad isn't even in his prime yet and look how many goals he's scored. Stop arguing about him and just except what he is and enjoy him while we have got him. If or when he goes we will struggle to replace him. There's no way on earth we will get a better striker for 28 million. Just take the vaulting you wont have to worry about him soon when he's gone somewhere else and scores another shit load for another team. Or will u worry?? And still slate him when he's banging the goals in for someone else?? Move along the bus lad this thread is boring now! Someone delete it and make a new thread please! Lukaku the record breaker would be a good start.

  3. Its funny how quick a player is forgotten about when they move to another club! I for one would have him back in a heart beat! On his day he is unstoppable! And he was getting better every season. I think he would easily fit into our system playing next to McCarthy. Granted we may not of had McCarthy if we didn't sell Fellaini! But i think we would have had them both and Barry was Bobbys plan b if the big fella left. But he went and we got Barry who's been excellent so it worked out for us!

I still wonder what it would have been like if we kept him an got McCarthy as well tho...

  4. I hope so, i see more potential in him than i do in Barkley!

Same! Ive never been so excited over a center back coming through to the first team the way he has! The composure he has and the way the lad defends and starts attacks is just amazing! And just 19! Wow! He's defiantly got a big big future a head of him!

Same goes for Ross tho! He's got the potential to become one of the best attacking midfield players we have seen for a long time! But based on this season hes been inconsistent. Where as stones has come in and looked like he's played CB for us for years!

Ohh and i have to say credit to Moyes for bringing the lad in! Even tho bobby was after him also :)

  5. Everton XI (v Aston Villa): Howard, Stones, Jagielka, Distin, Baines, McGeady, Barry, McCarthy, Osman, Barkley, Mirallas

subs: Joel, Hibbert, Naismith, Pienaar, Coleman, Vellios, Garbutt

  6. Good first half from our second string of players plus a few first team players. In fact most of them could easily be our first 11. Just looking at our bench makes me sex wee a little bit! Dela has looking amazing but as some people have said wish he would pass instead of shooting sometimes! That will come tho with more starts. Anyway second half time COYB'S!

  7. Barry all day! Like every blue had my doubts. Never really noticed him for Villa and City an that's because players like him don't stand out when you watch other teams! We have been missing someone like him since Lee Carsley doing all the dirty work! Players like them are so underrated. I can see Barry becoming our player of the season. His passing and the way he reads the game is amazing. So cool under pressure. He must be a joy to play with. The likes of Barkley and Osman have never played alongside someone with that quality. Just going on Osman's performance today he was a different player than what we have been used to for the last 6 months. COYB.

  8. If you fancy repainting your garden fence in the exact same colour it already is, with a toothbrush, whilst having a housebrick shoved between your cheeks, instead, it would be a more fulfilling and useful, and a less painful, frustrating and embarassing way to spend your time.

I don't think we can blame Moyes for this one. Any line up he could have put out tonight, and even without the ridiculous injury list we have at present because of whatever the fuck they do to the players at training, would be full of uninspiring, uninspired, clueless "footballers" that don't look interested in playing for us.

This! but i don't agree with the we cant blame Moyes theme! For a start he played Billy and he played Cahill And wait for it......... Saha! Ano we have injury's but in my opinion there a god send and there forcing Moyes to play some of the players who actually deserve a game! If only Saha And Cahill was injured and Billy had been sold back to Russia he would have had to play Drenthe Denis vellios or Gueye all who deserve a game ahead of Moeys favourites! I don't wish injury on any of our players but Moyes wont replace a player on form only if they get injured! He loves his favourites! He's like a kid with jelly's who eats all the red ones!
