  1. This sounds like the Sultan of Brunei all over again.

PS If they know nothing about the game they will ask Bill to stay on in some capacity. Unlike all other clubs in the Prem except Boro's Steve Gibson, Bill takes no salary for the work he does for the club and that is a fact like it or lump it. :)

Seeing his face on the tv spouting shit is payment for the ham actor methinks

  2. Slow down there mate, why label me and others in the Moyes out brigade, read the thread its about if he is worth the new contract, at present he is not no matter what you say, as manager HIS squad is under performing badly yet he wants his wages tripled, economic nonsense. You try and ask your boss for a rise with results like he has had and he'd sack you.

Are you happy with our team being booed off the pitch and the manager blaming the players, he needs to take a good look at himself, they are his tactics yet he takes no blame but a bl;oody get pay deal

Have to agree with you..at the moment he seems to be sulking like a big girl who's ripped her knickers for some reason..so at THIS moment in time he's not worth this supposed contract

Though why he still hasnt signed it is beyond me tbh

  3. I think the rules of the game will change before they allow so many clubs to go to the wall. It could be done now if we followed the rugby league model with wage caps ets. Where there is a will there is a way. The game cannot be totally divorced from its grass roots

And yes i can see a wage cap coming..i really can <_<

It just wont be allowed..(calling mr bosman) its called free trade and the day you restrict it then thats when politcians get involved and as i mentioned bosman we all know how well that turned out for football

    It'll never happen

  4. Well I do care, possibly I'm more of a traditionalist having been a blue since the 50's. A lot of us sniped at Chelsea and their Abramovich riches, I would rather these huge buy outs be legislated against than see our history discarded so some billionaire can brag about something he/she knows sod all about. Blue is in my heart and you just can't buy that

    Good for you

But its time now to live in the real world..the days of the local butcher owning a football club are over and the sooner fans realise this the better becuase frankly its not going to get any better indeed if we dont take heed and find someone with serious money all we older ones will have left is our memories of the good old days and the younger ones will have nothing.

  5. i dont think its a case of pride or purse, its a case of compete or not compete in my eyes

Correct this is what it comes down too.

For me having been a supporter since the late '70s i've seen up and downs the last few years have given a glimpse of what things could be like if we had some money behind us,which under BK we dont really have.

Do i care if its an evertionian running the club? no i dont frankly all i ask for is someone with afew bob to spend to at least keep us competitive becuase otherwise we will start to fall behind againand thats not acceptable for this club.

We were left behind at the inception of the PL and have been playing catch up ever since so whoever (if ever) anyone takes control of the club they have a hell of a job ahead of them.

  6. It most definatley would not suprise me

It wouldnt surprise me either something broke down during the summer and maybe it just cant be fixed while i dont think he'll end up at newcastle i think we may well be seeing the last season with DM as manager

Hope to god i'm wrong though

  7. He's injured. :lol::o :o

Its a shocker given his recent record isnt it?

But that aside it was a nice gesture and if i were running the club i would have taken him up on it but i would have course have made damn sure he was well paid when he did play and maybe a sort of "basic" wage,if you will, when he's out injured.

The sad fact is we have one sicknote at the club already and while in no way do i class Saha in that pillocks catagory surely it would have shamed VDM into doing something while he milks the club dry.

  8. That is old ground Ling, the shareholders voted last night so its a pointless argument mate.

Louis I apologise mate, yes your report was very biased, as Mike says it depends on your viewpoint, I should have said I would like to hear another version. That said even Grayson had the courtesy to thank the board for their frankness last night.

If you lads are so certain that Kirkby will not get the go ahead why get so upset, just sit back and it won't happen. Our Blue ancestors had the courage to go and build outside the then city boundaries, I still have that spirit of adventure as do the majority of shareholders. Can you lot say at what stage you will get behind the board because if Kirkby is given the green light you'll have to ;)

All im wondering honestly is where evertons share of the cash will come from

  9. Translated that means you lost

No translated it means another summer like we've just had if as expected the result of the call in doesnt come in a timely manner

Do i want the club to go to kirby? no i dont, not becuase of anything against kirby but becuase of tescos involvement..look at the JJB in wigan thats our future right there, some faceless stadium in an faceless industrial park becuase thats what it'll end up being no matter how glamouros the piccys look and that makes me sad.

  10. ok lets get rid and just invite another johnson to the helm!!!

i think bk will/would sell to the right person but to say hes done a bad job is just well out of order!

from near relagation to a near champs league side in such a short space of time and braking the transfer record 4 years on the spin!!!

its not bk's fault that billionairs are buying other clubs and making it harder to crack the top 4!!!

It is his fault if he's not actively seeking new owners or investment for us and frankly i see no proof that he is..

  11. Wow to me some of your comments about BK are telling..he has always given me that sort of impression though if things go his way he's fine but when the pressure is applied he doesnt like it (and frankly this is why he wont sell..its his ego)

Kirby should be dead and buried by now..how the hell, honestly now, could we really afford to fund the thing? we had our chance at kings dock when they all but begged us to take the land and we couldnt raise the 30 mill needed then, kirby would surely cost more than that now so really its time to put it to bed tbh.

So the board unsurprisingly survive another EGM,but for how much longer after this summers tansfer dealings.

I'll say it again City being taken over will move the face of english football over the next 12-14 months or so and we sadly will be left struggling to keep up with pompey and the likes of those teams, for a club that HAS made strides over the last few seasons its a bit of a sickener

  12. That was start of last season, so has never started a game since.

Interesting to see the wages he has had since being here, £1.2 Million a year, so by the end of his contract (end of this season.?) he will have been taken £4.8 million pounds away from this club plus the 2 million transfer fee. I see this as possibly our worst ever transfer deal, he has cost us nearly seven million pounds and made about 6 starts, only ever completed 90 minutes in one pre-season friendly.

If a farmer was relying on this turd to make a living he would have shot him and sent him to the Abbatoir as horse meat.

He'd be to drunk to get to the slaughterhouse to be honest

Utter waste of money and frankly a blight on everton football club

  13. For me at least the real test comes next summer..then we'll see what,if any progress the english cricket team has made

For me at least test cricket it were it is,1 day stuff is ok but i'm a bit of a purist at heart and frankly the last time we met the aussies we didnt just get our arses handed back to us,they sent them back airmail

  14. Can anyone say why we have never even tried to sack this waste of space as he has broken club disciplin codes and swung the lead from day one. With all the comings and goings at the club he remains getting paid a fortune for doing sweet FA. He has a contract but has infringed club rules.

Any suggestions as to how we can get him off our books without resorting to a hit man?

Throw him in the mersey..nobody would miss him ;)

  15. there is only one question to ask...how come Man City look more attractive to buy than us? They finished lower than us, their stadium is only leased (so would our new one, if we ever get it).

How come, when the ADUG listed the teams they looked at, Everton were not one of them? Newcastle, Shite, Man City - - but no Everton.

In the last 5 years. United, Liverpool. Chelsea, Portsmouth, Villa, Newcastle and now Man City have all had massive takeovers...why are we always overlooked???

    Simple question

Now come on BK will sell to the "right buyer"....

    No sarcasm there honest
