Correct this is what it comes down too. For me having been a supporter since the late '70s i've seen up and downs the last few years have given a glimpse of what things could be like if we had some money behind us,which under BK we dont really have. Do i care if its an evertionian running the club? no i dont frankly all i ask for is someone with afew bob to spend to at least keep us competitive becuase otherwise we will start to fall behind againand thats not acceptable for this club. We were left behind at the inception of the PL and have been playing catch up ever since so whoever (if ever) anyone takes control of the club they have a hell of a job ahead of them.

But that aside it was a nice gesture and if i were running the club i would have taken him up on it but i would have course have made damn sure he was well paid when he did play and maybe a sort of "basic" wage,if you will,when he's out injured. Wow to me some of your comments about BK are telling..he has always given me that sort of impression though if things go his way he's fine but when the pressure is applied he doesnt like it (and frankly this is why he wont sell..its his ego) Kirby should be dead and buried by now..how the hell,honestly now,could we really afford to fund the thing? we had our chance at kings dock when they all but begged us to take the land and we couldnt raise the 30 mill needed then,kirby would surely cost more than that now so really its time to put it to bed tbh. So the board unsurprisingly survive another EGM,but for how much longer after this summers tansfer dealings.
