  1. The left has always been a problem for us over the years....Now mau Utd is gonna sell Heinze.......and,,,,,,

Rafa is going for him for just 5M

    http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,1...2459054,00.html

So why not we hijack him? Guess we have a decent cover on the left if we can get him??!!! The question of if he wants to play for us and his salary is a stumbling block i suspect......

    What you reckon?

  2. Hahaha good goal ratio!!!

Den again i am sick of skysports now...they seem to link with any players Bolton, blakburn, fulham is intrested in....Skysports seems to imagine that these clubs together with Evertonfc fall into the same bracket!...Obviously not!! we are much better and i am sure DM would seek for players of higher class than what these clubs can attract!

    Damn!

    :angry2:

  3. This deal has been denied by the agent!!

Agent blasts talk of Bardsley move

Phil Bardsley's agent has rubbished reports that the Manchester United defender is on the verge of signing for Everton.

The Sun newspaper claimed the Toffees had agreed a £2million deal with United for the versatile defender, but Bardsley's representative Des Wroe insisted the report was well wide of the mark.

Wroe said: "I don't know where this has come from.

"The same story has appeared in the papers for weeks now but it is complete nonsense."

The 21-year-old started last season on loan at Rangers but the move turned sour after a bust-up with boss Paul Le Guen.

He then moved back to the Premier League in January with Aston Villa but the club rejected the chance to make the deal permanent at the end of the season.

  4. Investing in potential is the way to go....but at the same time sustaining if else being better than what our first 11 is equally important. If we fail in this, then even attracting young potentials to play for us can be a challange as well....So please look into first 11 and hopefully we get some better players as well.

  5. I posted on the board a few weeks ago about my time in singapore where i encountered an Evertonian working in a hotel, it was brilliant.

I was also impressed with the chang advertising!

To be honest, this is a first time i am seeing CHANG ad with our EvertonFC logo an players on it!...

maybe next time when you are in town do drop me a mail and we can catch up for drinks with some fellow evertonians and hopefully can catch a live match on Sky-ESPN :)

  6. In a country filled with Chelsea,Man Utd and Liverpools fans, you rarely see any other fans. Ho yes, once we have plenty of balckburn fans in the street with their red rose Ts but they went into hiding when Blackburn got releagated soon after.

Welcome to Singapore!! The amount of Everton fans are small in numbers. Most of these fans are those who have been following everton from their 70s or the 80s and the number rarely goes above 150 to 200 and produly i am one of them!

Today as i was walking down the street, i saw two buses painted in Chang Beer advertisements..guess what?? Everton Logo and players like Osaman, BT, Arteta were in it too!!! Phew!! that made my day!! Made me feel as if we have just won the championship!!! Made me feel i am not an alien Everton supporter in Singapore!!!

Thank you CHANG!!! On behlf of all Evertonians here in Singapore, a big "THANK YOU!!"

Wish we could see more of such ads and more shops selling Everton merchandises!!! Dreams do come true and one day i will see the flags of Everton flying high here in Singapore!

  7. heard we are bidding for 10M for downings.....Is it credible?? I doubt we have up to 10M to spent on one player alone!!!

    "Toffees eye up £10m Downing

Everton are ready to test the resolve of Middlesbrough by offering a deal worth around £10million for England winger Stewart Downing.

Toffees boss David Moyes has reportedly made the 22-year-old his top summer target and is likely to offer a player-plus-cash deal to lure the wideman to Goodison Park.

Striker James Beattie and winger Andy van der Meyde could be offered as makeweights in any potential deal for Downing, who was last summer a target for Spurs.

Boro boss Gareth Southgate will be keen to keep Downing though having lost Mark Viduka to local rivals Newcastle, but Everton have been tipped to firm up their interest in the next two weeks. "

I am supprised at the figure mentioned!! truth/Bullocks?

  8. Matteo Ferrari has spoken about his time at Everton, and how important it has been to his development, despite only playing a handful of games and never managing to hold down a first team place during his loan spell at Goodison.

He told Evertonfc.com "I have been playing a lot of football but I have to say that my time at Everton was a very important experience for me. I experienced football in a different country at a very good club but, unfortunately, it wasn't everything I wanted it to be thanks to the two serious injuries I had. Those injuries meant I wasn't able to enjoy the experience fully.

"I still speak to a few of the players but I have many friends at Everton. The club is one that I think is very special and I believe they can do very well this season. I am grateful to be able to wish them all the best and it would be nice if we both met in Europe next season.

"I would have loved to have given my maximum contribution to the Everton cause - it wasn't the case that during my time in England I was thinking about coming back to Italy. I just wanted to focus on the football.

"I found at Everton a club that was like a family and I felt very welcome and accepted from the first day.

"Everybody at the club helped me to get used to life in England and the players were great helping me when I was injured.

  9. That article is a lame excuse...the dog may be perfect ...but the owner is not.....For all i heard was dog see in Black and White and not necessarily in total color....Even a tanned White would look like a Black in the eyes of the dog..so does it bite?

Do not blame the poor dog..but rather shoot the owner down for stirring unhappiness in this world! LOL
