  2. im disappointed that lescott wants to leave but in all honesty i dont blame him. though the whole calling him Judas, prick etc is completley out of order. thing is though even though he wants to leave i wouldnt sell him. i wouldnt sell him until we have the replacement lined up and if there isnt a repleacement lined up then i wouldnt sell him.

with jags out we will only have Yobo left. rodwell isnt as effective as a center back and if yobo gets injured than we are fucked.

and in all honesty even if we get 20 million for lescott i doubt moyes will get all of it. he'll be lucky to get half that.

  3. In all fairness lads Jo needs taking out back and having one put in the back of his head..... It would be the kindest thing all round poor lad. He is quite literally THE laziest striker i have ever seen. This is something you will all soon learn. For a Brazilian his first touch is absolutely shocking. Plus when he is 1 on 1 expect him to bottle WAY more than he scores. Unless the ball is quite literally placed at his feet, he will NOT move to receive it.

As far as him playing in the cups. Yeah i think he most probably can. Although i doubt you will because he's Gash. Unless you meet us at some point.

I heard the most ridiculous comment of all time on a city forum yesterday. Some wank splash genuinely believes that City have told Everton that Jo can be bought at a certain set price if they decide to buy when the loan ends.

No club on earth would set a price for a loan player to be sold at, Because if by some miracle he has a blinder for your lot. Then You'll get him for less than he's worth. When we pushed this tool to provide us his sources of this rubbish he simply repeated the same tosh over and over. What a knob.

Yakubu is hardly the most agile or hard working of strikers and hes scored plenty of goals. whats your point. im sure we will see a good deal of Jo as hes had a full preseason and hell be getting a good run of games. and like what BedfordBlue said. moyes can bring out the best in players whilst Hughes is just a no mark

  5. Don't underestimate what your doing out there in Afghanistan, your no different to the armed fources of both world wars.Maybe the England they fought for was a bit different from the England of today, I think theirs was a more moral cause. But you servicemen are a credit to this country. If you think Iraq and Afhganistan are a "walk in the park", then I'm glad I'm not in that park! Our town buried cpl Lee Scott last week, he left behind an 8 month old baby and a 4 year old....he's a hero, but his kids wanted a dad!!

Your all heros mate......keep your head down!

    +10000 never truer words spoken

  6. That would be fun....and interesting.

Rather dance with Catherine Zeta than Mick Jones though (as long as she promised not to speak).

I found out something interesting today (interesting to me that is....and maybe Pat...possibly Alex).

First gig I ever went to was in 1973, NME awards at Wembley when Slade were headlining but went mainly to see a band called Home, who won the best newcomer award that year (was only 13 but my dad worked for CBS at the time who Home were signed to). Anyway they made only three albums (which I still listen to) before they split and one of the guitarists (Laurie Wisefield) went on to join Wishbone Ash and have a pretty successful career.

What I didn't know was that the bass player (Cliff Williams) joined AC/DC in '74, is still with them so is a bit of a legend.

Realise no-one really gives a shit but no-one else I know gives a shit either so you get to suffer....on the assumption that anyone's read this far  .

thats a pretty good story mike. i like wishbone ash. not a fan of ac/dc but its interesting
