  1. everyones always asking who shoud come/go in the next transfer window. obviously we all know that some players will have to go to fund the arrival of any new players. but besides that does anyone know what kind of money might be available to moyes come january? will there be any new cash? or is the answer still bugger all?

  2. is anyone else having problems with the evertonfc.com wesite? everytime i log on to it my cpu goes into overdrive. i was trying to watch last nights highlights on evertontv and the only way i was able to do so was to shut down the site after it loaded which took ages

  3. tunisia are quietly fancied to win their group u know. spain always under achieve (espec without arteta) and the ukraine rely on shevy too much so they are good outside bet

aussies too, they just drew away to holland, not bad going

yes and its also worth mentioning that brazil will also do rubbish this year (as they have no Everton players at all). in fact i fully expect the final to be australia vs portugal(as they both have an Everton player in their squads. also usa are a good outside bet(as they have an Everton player altho he hasnt played for the club yet). golder boot top scorer prediction: tim cahill. or valente. maybe howard.

  4. just finished reading truman capotes 'in cold blood' and i must admit it was one of the most compelling books i have read in a long time. based on the real life murders of a rural family in kansas in 1959. deals with all human angles involved including the killers. the movie 'capote' deals with the authors efforts to write this story. philip seymor hoffman won best actor for his portrayal of the writer at this years oscars. though not as good as the book it still sheds some interesting details on the background to the book. read first, watch movie later.

apart from that catch 22 is excellent(as someone mentioned already). another of my favourites is one flew over the cuckoos nest. better than the movie which is first rate. a biography which i really enjoyed was the don simpson one(ie, simpson and bruckheomer, producers of top gun, beverly hills cop....). what a nutbag.

if i think of anything else i'll get back to ya. ;)
