-

Jake Cassidy and the football kid

not sure where this goes so i figured i'd put it in here since i'm sure there are many of man city's players we'd love to have, especially if we could get them on the cheap.
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=810175&sec=transfers&cc=5739
this could be great for us if we could get one or two cheaper, the only problem i can see is how do you determine a realistic value to say "we got him cheap" when city have payed way over the odds for most players?
-
They will offer an improved deal but they are only bidding
5 mil, is beneathus a fucking nut job? There is no way we'll
accept that little
-
What makes you say that?
http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/2010/06/30/blues-tie-up-gueye-deal
"He became a regular starter last season, notching goals in each of the first six games before missing large parts of the rest of the campaign with groin and then knee injuries."
it'll be this i reckon.
hope hes not as unlucky as vaughany
-
I'm confident it'll be OK.
Get him on the plane to Oz, bunk him with TC, and he'll have signed for life before they head home .
why, is TC a good lover? :D
-
Thankfully he's been shit so far at the world cup so at least there shouldn't be any new vultures sniffin!
but if we want to sell like most people on here suggest we should, surely it would be better if he has a blinder - and inflate his price
-
am i bein thick at wondering how you got that from cahills comment?
maybe yeah,
"Losing him would be a big loss but I think he needs to see what he would be losing if he left Everton.
or maybe i read it wrong,
the he needs to see bit could read, he needs to go else where to see how good he has it here, if you get my drift
like cracker said i probably read to much into it, but as i said just seamed like an odd comment
-
also on sky sports yesterday

"Losing him would be a big loss but I think he needs to see what he would be losing if he left Everton.
wander what he means by this? that we should sell him and then get him back or what? bit of an odd comment
-
from that article it sounds like his agent/representative is a fuckin bell end and is seeing how far he can push us the greedy cunt, it may be his job to get the best deal possible for his client but the mixed messages cant be helping the situation and are turning what should have been a simple contract extension into a farce. what pisses me off is instead of dicking about with this, wasting time and resource we could be finding a replacement or re-enforcements.
-
its on the os now, get in!!!!
-
I would make him see contract out. Next season could be massive for us and he would be a big part in that.
Let's face it, if old arry wanted him - we could play hard ball and say £20m now or we will hold him till end of contract and then you are up against Chelsea, Man Utd, and a host of other bigger names who would take him on a free and offer £80k+ a week - what is it to be?
do you think its a good idea to sell one of our best players to one of our closest rivals? if we sold him to chelski or manure at least it wouldn't be so bad watching him continue to improve and potentially having an effect on our league position next term, even better sell him abroad, hopefully god will be good to moysey and give him a bucketful of cash for him
-
bill murray- fuckin legend
-
"2 players signed on before the window is even open?! Who is really in charge and what have they done with our board!!! "
i know... it does seam weird, maybe that's why moyes has been hinting at no signings in the summer- because they plan to get them all done now in the spring
-
he looks like hes ok from this goal
-
a striker that will pop them in week in week out must be a priority when you see how many chances we get, Saha is awesome but simply doesn't play enough albeit more for us than he played for manure. i reckon Donovan also showed us what we are missing on the right- Ossie bleeds blue bless him but just aint a winger by any means- any suggestions if we cant get Donovan?
-
"All this hatred against Moyes is also a joke, where's this come from?? "
too much time on their hands stood in the dole queue stewing over losing to a more respected club (twice...again) the bitter fuckers
-
i think he will be quality given a bit of time and some rest and has shown his potential in some big games, united and for Russia vs Slovenia(those two goals were mint) thing is he must be knackered which is probably why he seamed more consistent at the start of the season, as mentioned somewhere else didnt he come straight from playing the Russian league to playing here? thats like a back to back seasons
-
wont a club always have to sell players though otherwise the wage bill would be mental?
-
definitely a fake, the prem league badge is on the left arm on the front view and the right arm on the back view, either it is on both arms or a bit of a school boy error by the designer me thinks
lol just realised our kit this season has one on both sleaves
-
He needs a proper fitness regime like this!
that was well funny, now run fat boy!!
Saha out, Pienaar in
