I agree with recent posts. It's his first year. We have seen glimpses of good things with his assists early on. He does play the beckham like balls. That is something that can't be taught. Give him time before writing him off. I never wrote off Felli last year when he seemed to be all over the place. It takes time to settle into the league usually. I hope we can keep him and let him grow into a great prem player.

It doesn't matter who you have at centrebacks. Drogba and Anelka will take anyone. Your best bet is to play with with 10 defenders and hope they kick the ball over the endline and you score off a corner I don't think sitting in is the greatest idea as they are too good and will find goals. Chelsea are soo good and without a major physical presence I would be very happy with a tie. I hope you men going to the game can spur on our toffees to a good decision. COYB play your asses off.

 

Also TenaciousJ I agree that are strikers need to get a clue to scoring or at least getting a good touch on the ball.

We really don't have a physical presence now, but I like moving Heitinga forward. He will beat and bang with the best of them and he can play forward. The next thing though is who fills centerback. Neville is struggling right now and hurting Landon I think. Pineaar is playing really well because Baines is getting forward very well. I would like to see Seamus get some more time. I really would like to see Arteta in the midfield even though he is struggling. If he gets going so will everyone else especially Timmy.

 

However I do not agree with Carlmc in that were out of league. Teams could struggle and suffer injuries. If we got on a roll we could pick off a few teams. Never give up as there is a long ways to go still. Saha can't be that bad as he leads us in goals. When on his game he is the best striker and scorer we have.

Well put Bailey. I do like the idea of showing Saha that he needs to earn it. I do believe all of our strikers are not playing well right now. WHat about throwing Cahill back up top and running Landon and someone else in behind him. That way we can utilize our 500 midfielders we have.

I am a person who hates when people just rip on players, but Distin is not playing well at all right now. I don't like to throw people under the bus, but Distin is not worth the 5.5 million because as soon as Jags get's back we can pair him with Johhny and be just fine. We could really use Distin's money for better purposes.

We all know that Pineaar's contract is up at the end of the campaign. We have also heard talks about Felli leaving. I know that Landon is new to the club and that I have an American biasis, but he is playing pretty good right now and I think he is a very good player to have. If you were Moyes who would be your top targets to keep and also financially what would be the best for the club?

I like to look at both positives and negatives. Negative is this is not good to lose felli for awhile. Positives are that mikel can get more time on the pitch which he needs because he has looked terrible. I love mikel along with everyone else but he just isn't there yet as should be expected. I really hope we stop letting him take free kicks right now as they are ugly. Let pineaar, baines, or landon stand over top the ball. Mikel your time will come again soon dont worry. Another positive is that if Felli is out talks about leaving may subside for awhile because we all want him to stay.

Saha had a horrible game vs the team I don't like to write down, but then again who played well offensively. Yes Yak had a shot, but I think overall right now I would rather have King Louis out there starting. I wouldn't mind seeing someone up with him whether that is yak, or even cahill or landon. Either way it was a terrible offensive game and we need to get right back up for chelsea. Yak will get his chances as we all know that Louis will need a break or get knicked up hopefully, knock on wood, not hurt.

sorry mates I love all my toffee mates, but as for the World Cup I will be cheering all for USA. Should be a good group for both of us, as slovenia and algeria are great for the two of us. GO USA. Nice friendly rivalry

I just want Jags to come back and get fit first for Everton. Even though I am an American I still love to see our Toffee's at the international level. I can't wait to see Jack playing for England. I would love to see Arteta come back and play great and maybe get a nod to the Spain squad but that is a very long shot. Would need great performances and some injuries to take place to others most likely.

This is great news. We are going to have so many different combinations that Moyes can play. I think a lot of the starting eleven when were healthy will depend on what other teams are playing. Does anyone ever see Everton running three defenders is a team is running something like a packed in defense?

Neville is on the IR with about 10 other blues. One thing that is a positive, cross our fingers, is that Saha is still healthy and looking great.

I agree that Ossie isnt a first teamer when were healthy, but being a true blue I will never say anything bad about him. He works hard and that goes a long ways for me. Yes, you do need some skill which he has, but working your a** off will always get you praise after a match. Pineaar is dirty. That's all.
