  1. wheres the news on sky sports? I'm on it now and there is nothing about Bily?

2.5m if true is an absolute joke, but just shows what a manager can do to a players valuation, watch him move and play in his preferred role and undoubtedly shine

sorry mate its on skysports on the tv breaking news bar, they didn't say a price or anything.

  2. I hope he does keep his place in the team when Jags is fit, i do get a lil excited when i see one of our young lads playing it give me some hope for the future. He had a fantastic game yesterday, i watched it with one of my mates who's a Doncaster Rovers fan and he pointed out Shane saying he looks like a solid centre back, not knowing who he was or his age.

  3. ive spoke to a few united fans about this one and they haven't really been saying how bad he is, they are just saying that hes not good enough for man united. tim howard wasn't 'good enough for man united' and he's turned out alright for us so im going to support him while hes in everton colours and i hope he proves us all wrong.

  4. STEVEN PIENAAR insists he has no regrets about quitting Everton because he was going stale.

The South African has been plagued by injury at Tottenham since he quit Goodison in a £3m move last January, but he could start against his old club at White Hart Lane tonight.

Pienaar, 29, was linked with a loan back to David Moyes’ side but is determined to make his mark at Spurs.

He said: “Everton will always have a special place in my heart. At Everton we had a great manager but the squad was a bit smaller and sometimes you get to a point where you don’t push yourself any more.

“For me, I just needed to move on and challenge myself. It’s always good because you can push yourself. You have to make sure you reach your limit.

“I would love to play against Everton because it’s always a special feeling to play against your old club.

“David Moyes gave me an opportunity to show myself in England and I’ll always be grateful to the club and the supporters.”

Sums up the rest of the squad as well!

i reckon thats how quite a few players at everton feel now, they know that they will be in the starting 11 (louis saha!) and just under preform because they know that they will be getting picked each game.

  5. Have you seen some of the fat bastards playing rugby? Particularly in Union.

American Football is a fannies sport. More injuries are probably caused DUE to the protective gear they use.

funnily enough we were talking about this on the building site at work today, comparing rugby to american football. if you put the all blacks up against one of the top american teams i think there is only ever going to be one winner and i think its the men in black.

  6. maybe im being too sensitive about it then. I just wonder if a kid who supports Everton sees Saha on the page, tries reading through it before getting stuck at the phrase, turning round and saying "dad, what does.... mean?"

there's now a facebook app that allows you to read all articles thats printed in the guardian now. im only 19 and wouldn't dream of buying that paper haha! but i do have a look while im checking my facebook.

  7. Attendance was 29,000 tonight and i cannot blame the fans who failed to turn up! terrible game it was so so frustrating, neville is a pathetic excuse of a captain he never looked like picking up the team and driving them on. Once Jags, Ossie and Rodwell went of it didn't look like we had one leader on that pitch. The old Cahill would lift the team with his energy but he brang nothing i dont think he touched the ball for about 20mins after he came on? ... one of the worse second halfs ive watched tonight they deserved everything they got!
