Diouf (The shit stirring, spitting twat one) has just been released by BRFC. Surely worth a shout? LOL
-
Dear Arsenal, we'll wave on our way past as we enter Europe once again.
All the best, and look after Mickey.
Were we playing pre season then?
-
who will be the new vice captain?
Guess at Jag
-
i think based on his appearance ratio he cant be anything other than mediocre, granted when fit he was exceptional, but unfortunetly we didnt see that enough.
As i have said, when we played him right he was unplayable. Hardly Duncs fault he had Big Undies lumping balls to him from our own pen box most of the time. Doesnt make him mediocre at all, imagine Bainesy whipping balls into him now and his ratio would be completely different. Stats are deceiving
-
Maybe just no-one wants to buy him
-
he scored two goals for rangers the season before we bought him and scored 35 goals in four season in his first spell here. please stop embarassing yourself.
Was highly regarded in Scotland and only came here because of his personal troubles. When we played him right he was fucking scary to defenders, its like you telling me if we launched high balls into Cottee and he loses out that would make him shite as well. Only 1 person embarassing here and he is from herts
-
No, they were all proven. To be mediocre.
Ferguson mediocre? Yeh ok
-
Exactly what im talking about. James beattie, Andy johnson, marcus bent, daniel amokachi, DUNCAN FERGUSON!!!! need me to go on? We've always had unproven strikers BECAUSE WE HAVE NO MONEY.
My logic is perfectly sound thankyou, allowing our most costly player to leave gives the clubs financiers room to say "ok, we'll lend you another xxmillion quid next season"
You have to think of the bigger picture, one season of mediocrity could allow us to balance the books. Do you want a new stadium or not? Robert elstone cant just fart out 250+million quid y'know. we have to be in the position where someone will lend it to us. in order to do this, sacrifices have to and will be made.
Amo apart, none of them strikers were unproven
-
He doesn't lead the line though i'm afraid - not going to boo him, just would rather not have to have the temptation. Poor control, sulky, goes to ground easy. Seen the odd game where he does it, seen too many where he just doesn't or seem bothered to.
Wasnt that sort of striker, everyone knew this except Moyes it appears. Played his best with a partner
-
There are quite a few more complications involved with that mate. Might be best to change the subject now, and try and focus on the positives.
Just dont see the point in this deal at all, putting a player in the shop window when we could have secured him cheap makes no sense
-
No, you're wrong.
For Madrid to sell Drenthe, Drenthe must agree.
Drenthe is probably seeing out his contract, so Madrid have loaned him out, in order to get him out of the way, or offload his wages, or what ever the reason is.
We can't sign him permanently, because he is still Madrids property.
In 6 months of his Madrid contract ending, he can sign a pre-contract with us, which is not legally binding that I'm aware of, should he want to.
Am saying we should have tried to buy him, if the player says no then we should have moved on
-
well..?
Well what, no-one looked at the thread yesterday because it was DD. Was leaving it up today for people to have a guess
-
so he had personal problems cos of the injuries that occurred before he came to everton? just like drenthe has personal problems before he came to everton? seems a comparison to me..
LOL ok
-
HB, you are aware that the guy belongs to another club aren't you?
He isn't a free agent.
You are aware you can buy him cant you?
-
what with? the money has gone to the bank..
Oh didnt know you were Bill or Robert, you can prove this cant you? Oh wait its just in your head
-
vdm had personal problems too..drink bein one of them..the comparison isn't flawed..your head is
Vdm personal problems were because of his injuries and later on his dgther. You and other idiot need your head testing
-
You seem to want this guy on a 2 year contract. How exactly can that have happened?
I can let you watch my Virgin tv for a year, but after that, I have no contract with Virgin, so can't possibly allow you to watch it for 2 years. Madrid can't possibly loan us this guy for 2 years.
What are you getting confused about? Do you know clubs can buy other players?
-
Who?
Arteta 10, Becks 3.5, Yak 2
-
where's the riddle? if you can't figure out what he's sayin then you'd be fucked with the sunday horse riddle
VDM was 27 with horrendous injury probs before we signed him, Drenthe is 23/24 with a history of being a naughty boy. Apart the Dutch/Ajax influence the comparison is seriously flawed
-
How can we sign him on a 2 year contract mate?
We would have to buy him, and release him from Madrid's contract, in order to do that. Madrid don't have 2 years to negotiate. Only 1.
Not quite sure what your getting confused about mate. Just sold 15m worth of talent

Hi guys,
I'm an Arsenal fan, and I'm not here to rub salt in the wounds or to say anything disrepectful towards you or your club. I am merely here to say that I do feel your pain. We have lost a number of players over the last few years, and none hurt as much as Fabregas or Thierry Henry. The same hurt I can only assume you are feeling now with Artetas departure. I hope you still hold Arteta in the same high regard in a few years time that you do now, like we do with Henry, and no doubt will do with Fabregas. Arteta has done you proud, and I hope he will continue to do so despite him now being an Arsenal player. I have a lot of respect for David Moyse, I think he has done fantastically well with very tight purse strings and I consider you to be one of the better Premier League clubs, and a club that I hope remains in the Premier League for years to come.
Despite Artetas departure, I do believe you still have a good and strong team. You have a mixture of good young players and older experienced players. A very good formula to still keep you out of any danger come the end of the season. You have a great set of supporters and a very good manager to help you to achieve this.
The very best of luck to you all.
Thanks,
Steve
Cheers mate, you have got yourselves a very good player who in my opinion will replace Fab with ease. Gutted to see him go but dont blame him at all
-
nothin to do with the dutch thing it's to do with the fact we had a good player who had problems and didn't perform for us..you know damn well that's what he mean you're obviously just bein a prick for the sake of it
Is that what he means? No idea, the guy speaks in riddles
-
no shit
Will just leave you disappointed
-
Now that's just embarrassing for you....
Is it? OK
