  1. Alright lads and lasses. Firstly can i say im not looking for an argument or on a wind-up but i noticed another so called Mackem posted on here other other day. I'll set the record straight about the match. I thought the numbers you brought up were fantastic, 6500 all stacked out across out South Stand. (for the last time mind) however it was good to see. We took 6,000 to Goodison so hopefully you'll respect us too. You were very loud from the start, so we were however and first 30 minutes it created for the best atmosphere. The game started and you were sharper, fitter, passed it better and looked far the more accomplished side. Jelavic put youse into a deserved lead and at HT we had offered very little. Second half was even worse you completely battered us Jelavic had 3 chances, Cahill and Fellaini one each it could have been 4 or 5. The goal you did get bouncing in off David Vaughan's legs (i dont know what he was trying to do either) was very lucky mind, but was as painful for me as it was comical for you. You deserved the win and dare i say it you were one of the loudest sets of fans ever at the SOL. And i should know ive been a season ticket holder most seasons since it opened. I can think of just the Scum, Middlesbrough and maybe Stoke as loud as you. I was impressed. Our annoyingly bad run against you continues. 0 wins in 17 matches since 2001, and weve never beaten you under Moyes. Its horrible but Everton to Sunderland are the definition of a bogey club. However on a sour note i did not appreciate the behaviour of SOME of the Everton supporters after the game. Im talking about the antagonistic and aggressive nature of more than a small minority. Grown men in their 30's and 40's offering out to younger lads and really rubbing it in our faces. Of course a lot of us were angry and as a result scuffles broke out, their were arrests and after the match it was a very bad atmosphere outside of the ground. Sunderland fans were also to blame as well. We have immature people that were looking to take out our shit performance on the travelling fans which was bad. Put a dampener on what was a good atmosphere and feeling around the ground. But never mind. Btw please appreciate and enjoy your trip to Wembley. Thats 3 you've had counting 2009 and 2012. Im absolutely desperate to see us there and really thought it was our time. Oh well. Like i say, enjoy your day out and you deserved it. Jack.
