FFS, i have read some dribble in the past few days but this takes the fucking biscuit. HOW the fuck can u blame the board for the FA taking there time to sort out the clearance? HOW can u sit here and say that its the boards fault for the YAK work permit being denied? As has been reported, we didnt want to borrow money we didnt have (the sky money didnt go into the accounts till aug the first dont forget!) and thats why we took our time over the transfers.

GreatOJ, no one here, or indeed in the country can even contemplate how u and ur family must be feeling at this sad time. The Dignity, the strenght and the love shown by ur parents in the media, is nothing short of a miricle, and from what all the kids have been saying on the news, he seemed like such a great little 11 year old, and although no one deserves to have there life taken from them, rhys certaily didnt.

I hope anyone with any information comes forward, so that the police can put this sad case to rest and let the Jones family grieve in peice.

we need a player like yak tho. defo etc are to simular to vaughen and AJ, yak gives us that something different. someone to fight off the defenders to get the space for aj or jv to run into. flick the ball on, and also be there when the other two pull out wide to create the space for him in the middle. i cant think of anyone who is of the simular mould avalible, who can score the goals he does, for that price.

the figures dont even add up in the annual turnover in the first table. i wouldnt trust that at all. there is so much scare mongering going on here, its really sad.

couldnt agree more with romeny. as soon as u wrote hes not worth 6m....nugent went for that and was only a championship player. yak has been in the prem for 4 years min, and been top scorer at pretty much every club he has been at, scoring 15 goals atleast a season. imagin having an extra 15 goals last season!

i personally think 12.5 is the top price for him, anymore is a no no. but after darren bent going to spurs for 17m...think about it guys

they havent got the rights for live first team games, but i believe they can show reserves and youth games live, and then the first team games a few days later in full etc

Well, managed to attend my 5th game of the season (costs £50 in fuel alone) and was so pleased. Was sat in the lower glad again and it just gets better and better. almost lost my voice from the chanting, but please can someone help me...that mikky arteta song...the one with nobody better i know one...what are the words? and what the hell is the tune? been buggin me!

Looked a little nervous in the first half, as were the crowd really. then in the second, something just clicked with the crowd and the team responded. was amazing to watch the youngerst upfront for the first time, took awhile to get going but god they are going to be HOT soon! and thank god for the ice cream vans outside after the game!

he got a bad name at the start of the season, and the commintatiors dont help still. They are constintantly replaying over and over again to see if he is diving, when he clearly isnt.

Nothing said. typical. it really does wind me up sometimes. i dont really like neal warnock, but fair play for him having the balls to say he has lost respect for him this season after whats hes done.

at the end of the day, we have never been able to sign the huge playboy style footballers, and to be honest, i hope we never do. everton fc is about team work. getting the best out of players as a unit, rather than a team worth 100million. money isnt the key to anything remember that!

A few seasons ago, when we finished 4th, we had marcus bent and bt upfront. But it wasnt about them as our strike force, it was about the way we played as a team, and won games. i for one hope we carry on the way we are, getting 2 or 3 decent players every window, and building on that. i think it will benifit Everton FC a great deal in the long run.

heard this morning off a friend, that there was an Everton scout at QPR on monday, looking over lee cook. aparently, a bid could be iminient.

Renie is a prick. 2 pens that should have been given. 1 for them, given without even thinking about it. moyes was going mad, cant wait to see what he has to say after the game this time. missing compatition in midfield, but defence looked solid for most of the game.
