The Super St Domingo Lamb Banana in painted Everton kit stands outside Goodison Park. It has become a popular focal point for fans, particular younger supporters. But the sculpture was left red in the face after pranksters used tape to give it red eyes, ears and heavily made-up lips. Today Everton spokesman Ian Ross said: “It is incredibly childish, and whoever is responsible for this should grow up and act their age. “The superlambanana has become a real focal point - specially among young Evertonians who often ask their mums and dads to take pictures.” Merseyside police said the matter had not been reported to them.
