Liverpool press are pushing/campaigning for the new Cruise liner facility to gain a license to enable it used as a starting and finishing point for cruises: http://www.liverpool...92534-27541801/

 

The facilities are physically there and have been paid for using the public purse but they are unlicensed for the allowing cruises to start or end there, 10 months ago an application was rejected because it was built using public money and it was felt to be unfair on other ports around the UK. Liverpool feel a Tory/Lib Dem may be more inclined to agree to its approval.
