Madmatt
met him last year before a game (we turned up stupidly early and he was running through stanley park as he does before games we later found out) and then again once he got back to goodison. had a chat about the team and goodison and he was as honest as he could be. came accross very well then and that was a good read! Louis
"I still believe that a wealthy benefactor wishing to invest in a football club and take it further should still happen". It could be one of the reasons he 's not a fan of the German football set up. They ensure that 51% of the club is owned by fans and it deters wealthy individuals from doing a 'Roman'. The exception is the Hoffenheim owner who's local to the club and wanted to see them in the 1. Bundesliga.

There splenty of wealth in the boardroom but no-one wishes to invest
