He took to a public meeting and they chose the name San Antonio Scorpions, they play at a high school's stadium whilst the owner is preparing to build the team their own stadium and for their first ever home game, over 13,000 people attended. Zoo Posted April 21, 2012 Report Share Posted April 21, 2012 Only a few minutes later, the Scorpions had the opportunity to convert from the spot as Denissen earned a penalty kick, but failed to convert. One of the worst moments ever. That penalty taker could have been the first person ever to score for the SA Scorpions and failed. Feel sorry for the lad but that's probably the difference between the teams on the day. The Islanders took their chances and Scorpions didn't. Good luck to them though, I'll be supporting.
