This year Burnley had a promising 14 year old player called John Cofie on their books and some Premiership clubs were interested in signing him.. one of the interested clubs (not too far from our own ) instructed the player's agent to withhold said player from training with Burnley until he signed for the club.. when that club tabled an offer... it was rejected out of hand, the play was unhappy about this but a bid was accepted by Manchester United who went through all of the proper channels...
