The plans for those who wish to travel by train in Kirkby are in for a huge disapointment.


This is best scenario for those who wish to travel home on train after the game the example given is Saturday 3pm Kick Off.

16.55 Match ends;
17.10 First 1000 fans depart - 3000 waiting in the rain........for the next train
17.25 Next 1000 depart - 2000 waiting in the rain.......for the next train
17.40 Next 1000 depart - 1000 still waiting............for the next train
17.55 Final 1000 get away.

Shambles.. it truly is.

a good example for the train network, go to west ham and see how thousands of people cram for a train right after the game, only they have more frequent trains and a smaller capacity stadium

This is one of the reasons why Liverpool and Sefton are opposing the scheme as their areas will be full of parked cars with no benefit to their area.
