Neil
most observers expect beatie and aj to form the blues first choice line up however moyes warned today faddy is definitely in the frame i am quite excited by what i have been seeing from him in pre-season his form has been very good he looks stronger more mature and his decision making is better people shouldnt be thinking its going to be aj and beatie up front i have to say faddy could easily start saturday personally i hope dm sees sense and picks aj and beatie
GoldfishMemory
I dont care as long as the strikers (whoever they are) score!
xavier
It makes perfect sense what Moyes says coz: (1) It raises McFaddens confidence. (2) You cant have a 'first choice' pairing of strikers. There will be cases, (many imo) where going 451 would be a better option. Maybe one of the two Johnson or Beattie and Mcfadden playing behind the lone striker would make much more sense. A lot depends on whom you are playing, where you are playing. Pat
Mor concerned what the back 4 will look like.
java2001e
Mor concerned what the back 4 will look like. 46030[/snapback] last season our attack was considered our weakest position. its amazing just how quickly things change. i would say we need more muscle in midfield today. our midfield seems to be more attacking than defensive, and we need both qualities there. neville is a good defensive midfielder but he's playing in the back four at the moment. i think when that situation is corrected it will be a help.
