For the last 3 seasons Moyes has been saying we need to get some more players in to make up squad numbers not neccessarily all amazing players but some more so we have a bit more strength in depth and every summer/transfer window nothing happens. About 3 players go out about the same come in and then later in the season Moyes will moan about it saying when you have such a small squad. I'm not one of those people who says Moyes out but if you haven't got enough players you should have done something about it. I mean having only one recognised right back is completely stupid we are lucky Hibbo didnt get an injury before now.

Toffeeweb is reporting that Mikky might be off to Utd, the pic above shows him entering for the Sunderland game yesterday. If this is true it sucks major balls would explain why ferguson was at the Everton game today tho. Actually utd are playing spurs on mon so that explains that but still worrying..

Too true that, tho I was thinking the other day even tho he is ok he is prob the weakest part of our first choice midfield. First choice for me being cahill and neville centre arteta right and osman/VDM on the left. Not saying Neville can't do a job but someone with a bit of imagination and skill would be good in the defensive mid role rather than a hard working tough tackling limited in skills player like Neville.

Why after loaning him for a season and realising for himself that he is shite would Moyes want to actually pay money for him?

I agree wouldn't get Kirkland well injury prone, if we were to get a keeper off the reds I would get Dudek but am sure there are other keepers instead of either of them. Cisse is fast but pretty crap and Traore does anyone remember that wonder goal he scored for Burnley?

Few weeks ago I wasnt complaining but we were on a good run and you couldn't complain and even after the last two results you can't complain about recent form too much. But........... before christmas we were crap complete and total rubbish and you can say what you like about 'Oh the lads have done well recently' before that they did f*** all for 3 months before that. So we now need them to have no more off days against teams like Sunderland since they got themselves into this position where we need to have no more slip ups because they had so many slip ups before christmas.

My mate summed it up for me when we were 2-1 up at half time "Good job this lot are rubbish". When we were 2-1 up I thought the result would have been harsh on Sunderland they were shite but we were equally so. Thought it was a pretty terrible game to watch to be honest. Davies was crap again where is he supposed to play???? Teflon was crap from where I was sitting that shot of theirs that hit the bar shouldnt have beaten him maybe it was me but he was pretty crap all game, you could see even the Sunderland players knew he was crap closing him down all the time cos they thought he would f*ck up which was prob likely. We seemed to lack all creativity and had no ideas Beattie seemed pretty quiet today can't fault him recently tho. Was sat in lower bullens right near the Sunderland fans and to give them their due there was quite a bit of good banter with their songs such as "We've only got 10 points" But them singing you'll never walk alone got boring pretty quick tho some people seemed to be getting wound up by it we were winning at the time so I thought let em sing it all they like. Thought Goodison was deathly quiet today having said that what I saw on the pitch didnt give me much to shout about. Then that announcer at the end "We hope to see you in a fortnight for Tottenham" Not likely after that display piss poor I say. Don't want to sound too much like Fozzie but that was one of the worst games I have ever seen.

My first game was v Tottenham in 95' 1-1 Graham Stuart scored for us and Chris Armstrong scored for them. Off to Goodison on sat, first time since Pompey earlier in the season hope we play better this time cos that game was awful.

Btw Gladwys I also went to that Barnsley game I remember Cadamarteri scored(who?) and Speed scored a couple can't remember who scored the other tho, spoke to some Barnsley fans on the way out of the stadium and they thought that they might have won had we not had Speed in our team yeah whatever....

And why oh why do we always get Ian Gwyn Hughes commentating on our games, I mean Jonathan Pearce seems like a bit of an idiot he came out with some real gems when he was on Channel 5, but he is obv one of the Beeb's top commentators (in their opinion) and he never commentates on our games which seems to highlight the fact that they hate us.
