agree with some points you make xavier but i think its only a matter of time before Bellamy throws a fit over not playing all the games espically when he scores a few goals.

sorry lads dont think i explained myself great, i agree the game should have been won before half time and i don't for one second doubt that we weren't the better side but the fact is they got in twice and it isn't a suprise it was when Carsley was off the field. Yes we should have had the game finish by the time Carsley went off but what i meant was if he was on the field i don't think they would have scored their 2 goals. My point was that we are better defending with Cars in front of our center backs.

Romey said that it shouldn't have made much difference to us when Carsley went off but it did ( from a defensive aspect).

Have to ask this question lads. Do you think we are a better team with Carsley in it?

In my opinion 100% yes. I really noticed it on saturday when he went off injured, after he went off we looked nervous at the back. I know he isn't the greatest player in the world but we are a far stronger team with Cars sitting in front of the back 4. And i don't believe we have anyone to replace him when he missing, this includes Neville because i know people are going to suggest him.

On saturday Lee going off injured cost us 3 points. We didn't look to have problems at the back until then. Neville doesn't have the same positional sence as Carsley, he gives 100% but seems to chase after the ball alot and then gets caught out of position creating gaps infront of the center halfs. Any opinions

great news, I think he must have been told he's first choice with Lescott. Good young partnership and one plus that we haven't had for a while - both quick and mobile as well as big and strong.

I agree with you about most thing but i dont think you can call Parker a slacker, i remember him being carried off in a game last season because he was phyically sick he ran that much. Not the sign of a slacker, you're right about the turkish ass**** though.

As for emerton - would be a slight improvement on Kilbane but slight improvement ins't good enough - Pass on this one, anyway looks like the wonderful VDM wants to stay again <_<

think we need a left sided midfielder badly dont think we can pin our hopes on VDM anymore <_< but i cant see a move for Duff or Wright-Phillips either .

very happy about the lescott signing. If we can keep Yobo now we have a good young centre back pairing. Don't know to much about Lescott but i have heard great reports about him.

good post Adam. I was just thinking about the Yobo situation and totally agree that he is waiting to see what Weir does. I believe if Weir goes Joey will stay as he must think Weir will be first choice next season if he stays
