Benni for me that lad can tackle, altho I think he was helped by the return of McCarthey, he adds a bit of grit to out midfield the sooner he's up to full match fitness the better.

It'd be more to do with the branding of the club I think. If he signed you could guarantee his shirt would sell all over the world play or not. Raising the profile of the club would make it easier to sign better players.

Anyway I'd have to say on experience of winning cups etc alone I'd take him for a few seasons, I think he would be more than a bench warmer and our younger players would learn how to cope with big games from him. That said I wouldn't break the bank to get him.

I also think you should look to get as much local talent into your team as possible, I can't get my head around how many foreign players we have in our leagues.

I'm not sure about a below ground level stadium, I'm pretty sure it restricts the capacity as it's harder to evacuate in a dangerous situation. And as we're Everton there would be a freak once in a lifetime flood and we'd end up with the world's most expensive swimming pool!
