1. The teams/individuals implicated (to varying degrees) were:

Fat Sam - 3 agents named him as someone who takes money, but have since all said they were joking, which seems rather flimsy.

Fat Sam's son - Proven on camera as dodgy but has since quit football

Redknapp - On camera discussing buying a player from an unlicensed agent but didn't talk about money

Kevin Bond - Caught on tape saying that he would take a bung. Has since left Portsmouth

Chelsea - caught on camera saying they would make payments (£150,000) to 15 year old at Middlesboro if he signs for them (without his club's knowledge)

Liverpool - discussed the same 15-year old without Middlesboro's knowledge

 tbo lads think they are all at it ;) to much money in the game people get greedy also its how teams try to get players now so its not a shock really B)

  2. Mine was the Bayern game in the semi's. Never experienced anything like it. And it was only a few tears it's not like I was bawling like a baby.

:D same here mate i was so filled with pride that night :D cryed like a baby all the way back to the car :o my older brother who i was with just kept smiling at me saying told ya so ;) was one of the best times of my life al never forget it as i was luckty to be there :D but what a night ;)

  3. I don't have the mag to hand now so I can't quote, but he dodged the question about staying after his loan big time and the general consensus was that all he was interested in was getting some games under his belt.

It also mentioned he has terrets syndrome which suprised me. I thought that led to twitches but he said his concentration during a game is so high he can control it. He's a devout Christian and lives by the Book so he's high on morals which could be a good thing, maybe Moyes can get a gentlemans agreement with him about staying on. It'd just be a shame to see him go back to Man you after we revive his career.

:D lets hope he sees the light and stays with us

  4. is anyone else having problems with the evertonfc.com wesite? everytime i log on to it my cpu goes into overdrive. i was trying to watch last nights highlights on evertontv and the only way i was able to do so was to shut down the site after it loaded which took ages

    50994

:o no problems here mate ;)

  5. did not want bell end.. I think he is not a team player and would be bad for the dressing room... Not been hugely consistent and is not a prolific goal scorer... Bellamy sent the one of the best ( if not THE) Shearer derogetory text messages and shown no respect... also went to celtic introduced himself and told all the players he was having a team BBQ and they were all invited and said to his team mates " I know your not on as much money as me so i will pay for all the food and beer"... I'm Welsh and hate the arrogant little pr1ck... on the other hand Johnson virtually gives up his world cup place to help his team with promotion from the championship..... Speaks Volumes really!!! I'm sure after MOyes met bellamy he realised he was not right for the club.... Hes a big head and got a massive chip on his shoulder... did you see him come off against Chelsea??? he done fook all for 70 mins and still had the cheek to moan as he was coming off the field... wank3r....

:D theres no contest here has to be andy j all the way ;)

  6. The funny thing for me is above or below Liverpoo it doesnt realy matter we are improving and growing as a club, a team and our manager looks like he is learning too.

As for the shite the spend all that cash an look the same if not worse than last season and all the heart / passion seems to be draining out the team with only stevie laaaa looking like he's actually proud to pull on the shirt. I bet deep down he wishes he was STILL waring the blue shirt when he looks at the pride and passion in our club (a club by the way which doesnt need to win silvewear to keep its fans and players interested)!

:D you have a very valid point there fish and i agree :D

  7. Mmmm, ive printed that out and will keep a close eye on it.

Do they update it after every couple of games, ? because you cant go on just four games.

How can they put reds in third place when they are 5 points down on the first 4 games.  And the Arse in 4th who are minus 7 points, And if results go right this sunday they could BOTH be out of the contest.

man u vs reds...........chelski vs arse.

:D lets hope licker things go are way mate ;)

  8. Read this one with a laugh. Couldn't imagine a more unlikely outcome (well, yes I could), but this one rates up there among the outlandish rumours of the year.

I couldn't even imagine the uproar that the loss of Arteta and Cahill would cause among Blues fans, especially if they went to Man U. Would management even be able to show up to home matches any more?

    Rubbish, this one.

    50057

    ;) good call mate :D

  9. Utter bollox methinks .

Even Bill '' the buffoon '' Kenwright wouldn't be so stupid as to even dare suggest we sell our souls to become Manure's feeder club .

I'd rather smear my knob in honey and shove it in a bee hive than see Everton become little more than Manure's reserve side .

Bollox bollox and more bollox .................

    49990

:o thats a lot of bollox their willo

  10. When moyes signed for us I heard several comments from Preston NE fans saying he was a brilliant man manager but always dithered (their word) in the transfer market. You take the negatives with a pinch of salt when teams lose a manager or player but it has turned out to be very accurate.

I'm happy to say this years deals have been like a breath of fresh air and has begun to sway my major concern about Moyes ability in the transfer market.

    50051

:D think hes learned his lesson lads :) hope so anyway

  11. I think it is a bit too early to be getting carried away with our selves, the wheels can fall off at any time, especially with our small squad, but confidence breads confidence. If we continue in this vain then teams will be looking at Everton before they play them and thinking "OH SHIT THESE ARE GOOD", where if we were on a loosing run teams would be thinking they could tuen us over, as they did at the begining of last season.

So, there is a lot of hard work to be done in keeping us where we are, and as I've already said,

"I WONT BE GETTING CARRIED AWAY UNTIL WE TEST OURSELVES AGAINST THE BETTER TEAMS IN THE LEAGUE, LIKE CHELSEA OR MANURE"

For the moment im happy to be undefeated in the league glancing over our shoulders at all the teams below us. Wondering what will happen if we beat wigan and Chelsea win this weekend

    50045

:D sweet dreams them zed ;) lets hope they come true ;)

  12. "MY point wasn't to suggest that you WILL falter, only that 4 games in is WAY too soon to be boasting about your performance overall."

not so sure about that. things are so tight in the premiership these days that you can't afford to drop too many points. you certainly can't afford to fall too far behind the leaders.

they say the league can't be won in september, but it can be lost!

for example arsenal are already ten points behind manu!

even for a team with all their talent, thats a serious deficit. manu arent n the habit of throwing away ten point leads to anyone, anytime.

this season could be a turning point. it seems to me that clubs are no longer intimidated by chelsea or manu or any of the usual suspects.

we could be witnessing the start of a changing of the guard.

    50034

:D think thats a good thing need more teams to be challanging, makes for a better season for supporters look at us :D;)

  13. Thought long and hard before putting this in the matchday thread...I'll fully understand if a mod wants to move it to the "Jokes" section because it's the funniest thing I've read in years...letter in the Echo..

I'VE got to jump to the defence of Sami Hyypia after the criticism he's received since Saturday.

Too slow? Only once were the Liverpool back line done for pace by Johnson and Carragher recovered brilliantly to block his shot.

Pace did not cause another single problem.

Written by a lad called Johnny Maher...watch out for him, he has a big future in stand-up ;) .

    50013

 sounds a right laugh this bloke, made me chuckle :lol:
