"The Science Behind Statto Index

The Index has been developted and tested over many years, using around 25 years worth of results and approximately 10 years of bookmakers odds to test the accuracy and profitability of the system. Naturally, no system is perfect but we believe we have as close as we can get. For the mathematically minded, the correlation between our forecasts and actual results is approximately 0.92, which means that approximately 92% of the final outcome is explained by the prior forecast."

hard to see watford going down, they look to good to me, but it will be interesting to see how they all finish at the end of the season and compare the reality with the predictions.

  2. Tristan snubs England

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Diego Tristan has snubbed a possible move to England to join Real Mallorca.

The former Deportivo La Coruna ace had offers from Bolton and Charlton, but he has decided to stay in Spain.

Bolton boss Sam Allardyce confirmed his interest in Tristan, while Charlton are thought to have offered him a lucrative contract to try and lure Tristan to England.

However, Tristan has rejected their overtures to agree a move to Mallorca on a one-year deal.

Tristan arrives at Mallorca on a free transfer after having his contract cancelled at Deportivo La Coruna earlier this month.

The 30-year-old revealed he could have earned more money if he moved to England, but he decided in the end to stay in his homeland.

"In the Premiership the money is superior, but today I believe I can still be a success in Spain," said Tristan.

"My head did go to England, but my heart decided on Mallorca.

"Now my challenge is to play.

"My decision was not influenced by money. Today this is not a problem for me."

Mallorca president Vicente Grande admitted Tristan was excited at the chance of playing for the Islanders again.

"I have spoken with Diego and he is excited by our plans," said Grande.

"This was key for the deal to be completed."

Mallorca coach Gregorio Manzano also backed the move for Tristan.

"Tristan will help the team with his experience," said Manzano.

 think this lad is to inconsistant for me and always injured, hope hes not finished would not wish that on anyone except that little shite who stabbed us in the back <_< , dont think we will get nolan think bolton will want a kings ranson for him but he would look good in a royal blue jersey me thinks :D

  4. Was very sceptical...But upon further reading it seems Barcelona have done a decentish thing..

( Though there is some political Catalonian undertones independant state type murmurings by Laporta, even mentioned Franco & the likes)

Seems that Barca are going to donate 0.7% of their profits to the UN child poverty charity. this seasons projected income is around 240 million euros. Add 0.7% of that figure to the value of all that prime time advertising, and UNICEF have got themselves one hell of a deal.

:D this is a smashing thing they are doing ;) hats off to barca for doing this :D the shirt looks good to :D

  5. Don't worry. My reply was meant to be humorous: an American born-and-bred and raised on American sports shouldn't ever be mistaken for an English football fan, no matter how much I may know about "the beautiful game". And having played/coached the game, I do know some.

If I come across as a "smart aleck" (or gobshite, take your pick) sometimes, it's just that I can't help it!  :D

:D say what you feel mate theirs no shame in that ;)

  6. James Vaughan has been named in the England under 19 squad for a tournament in Austria next month.

The 18-year-old made a return to action in the recent reserve clash with Newcastle, but had been out of action for a year before that.

He injured his knee while on England duty 12 months ago.

Also named are Middlesbrough's Lee Cattermole, Arsenal's Fabrice Muamba and the Liverpool duo of Paul Anderson and Adam Hamill.

The tournament is a practice for the European under 19 Championships next year.

:D obout time if you ask me ;)

  7. Got as far as..

without either Manchester United or Everton wishing to either confirm or refute whether they are true or just malicious rumours.

..not gonna waste my time reading any more. No-one going to confirm or refute because they are only in the mind of whoever wrote this shit and completely laughable.

:o i would wipe my arse on this if my printer hadnt packed up ;)

  8. http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=4...rnational+break

    well  - mr master tactician...

    we had

    AJ

    Phil Neville

    Simon Davies

    David Weir

James McFadden (who was injured whilst playing international football)

    Gary Naysmith

    Kevin Kilbane (sort of)

    Lee Carsley

And it aint as though the RS internationals had hard games....andorra, Northern Ireland (For Reina and Alonso), macedonia...didn't even have to travel far...

    You had:

    Stevie Me

    Crouch the slouch

Bellamy (who didn't play in the derby)

    Alonso

    Reina

    garcia

I hate excuses - I really do. Just take it on the chin like everyone else has to.

If the shoe was on the other foot - we would be getting told how bitter we are towards their success....

But once again, as when we finished 4th (you remember, when the RS lost 4th - we didn't win it!), they are showing their true colours and bitterness towards other teams doing well...

They criticised Man Utd when they dominated. They criticised Arsenal when they dominated and they criticise Chelsea now...

THey say we dont matter to them - just a nother game, but there isn't a RS fan in sight that hasn't got a hat full of excuses as to why they got stuffed at the weekend and hopefully will get stuffed tonight...

    49731

    :D good call ;)

  9. Got that as my desktop in work, the pic not the flag  :D

We had a banner up in the pub after, must be 20 foot long, black with white writing "Everton FC" on the top, a skull and cross boned in the middle and "we fear no man" accross the bottom its quality.

    49626

 it sounds it fish :lol:

  10. dont know if this isin another topic but one of the many many highlights of the derby for me was arteta simply taking the piss in the last 20 mins, this will live in my memory for ages, also for the rs fans who had a go at anyone who cheered when riise went down what wwas your song about him breaking alan smiths leg, fookin hypocrits.

    49573
