  1. Dacourt was brilliant. I was upset to see him leave. He loved it at the club although he did recommend Nyarko to us so it's not all good. Nyarko is playing in the Swiss second division now after costing us around 4million (more including wages)..

I couldnt stand Nyarko, wasn;t there a incident when our fans where accused of racism against him becuase we was verbally accosted in a game, when it turned out that the guy was only saying he wasn't fit to wear the shirt.

  2. Mascherano is actually the better player out of the two, quite easily infact. If he can get in the Kopshite's team then he will only make it better.

i agree completly, some of the players picked above him by west ham is just stupid. Personnaly i think that masherano would walk into most top european sides and has been wasted at west ham

  3. i don't rate him anyway, he's got the talent but it's only ever in flashes which is not enough at this level. he's a championship level player i think.

he's one of those players who can't quite bridge the gap, too good for championship not good enough for the premiership

see also:- Earnshaw, Rasiak, Watford (lol)

  4. ^^

I just don't rate him that highly. Don't think hes england quality yet. He's still young though and no doubt will improve, especially along side King, who has been unfortunate with injuries bith i think when fit should be on the negland bench as our sub CB or holding midfield above someone like carrick. an 18m waste of space.

remeber how class King played against France, didnt let zidane have a touch

  5. osman. sorry but i like the guy but he cant tackle for shit and his passing rate at the weekend was terrible.

i agree, good squad player but if we have the chance tp play someone better he has to be one of the first off the team list. i like him but he cant deliver all the time. but he can pop up with vital goals every now and again, like west ham earleir in the season

  6. me too, i was at Goodison for the west ham game earlier in the season and i thought that he looked there best player, put in a really good effort, but again his final touch or shot let him down. alot of it is probably down to confidence. don't know how i would cope moving to a new country not speaking a word of the language and then stuggleing to adapt to the style of play.

i reckon when he acctally scores he will start knocking in a few

  7. Just a random few thoughts i had when i read this article on bbc

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/6330775.stm

always thought it was strange that a country like india has never made any impact footballing wise (given its size)

also, (and i want to make this clear that this is in no way racist r anyhting like that) but you see very few britsh indian footballers or referees and i have always wondered why this is. As far as my understanding of the poplation goes there is a vast number of brithish indians and i always wondered why so fo few become footballers. (cant name many in the prem) also the point of referees, you verry rarely see indian referees. i have once (Palace vs Walsall in FA Cup) and the crowd racially abused him the whole way through the game, mainly references to him being a "bomber".

    anyone any thoughts on this?

  8. i read that with the mascerano sale the main problem is that westham will get nothing for him, and that in some way violates fifa rules. apparenetly liverpool are paying 17m for him, all this going to the other two parties that own him.

it will be interesting to see what happens with the whole point deduction thing, the whole deal seemed really dodgy when it first came about and its interesting to see it spiral out of control now.

wonder if were eveer going to see either of them make an impact in the prem. i thought that tevez would light up the league, but hes struggled a suprisng amount. it it seems to me that none of his managers (as in pardew and curbs) acctually know what position to play him.

  9. seems like a sound guy,

one thing though its interesting about the afican cup of nations next year. alot of big teams loosing big players. like it says in the artical you could see chelsea struggle at the moment without drogba and essien (in my eyes essien is fast becoming one of the best players in the premiership). also us loosing yobo and anicibe.

wonder if the tournament will be televised here, with the quality going over there it could be good.
