  1. We have no players in the middle with the combination of bottle and passing ability. Tosun isn’t lost or unfit - he’s just expecting some level of quality/vision from the midfield that just isn’t there. To be honest I feel Tosun could do the job in the midfield as he results in a positive more times than a negative when on the ball. The problem is he’s not on the ball enough. I blame Big Sam 40 for this. We’ll survive this year and hope to stave off regulation next year also. Anyone thinking any different is not watching games nor familiar with entire roster. Dark days at Goodison.
  2. What a load of shit Everton are. Pickford excluded... honestly cannot take it anymore.
  3. We are watching two different seasons son. Look at the table and be honest with yourself. Sams got to go but in the end job done in his eyes. Agreed- common denominator in all this is Walsh. He has got to go yesterday.
  4. Sam was always a stop gap. Apart from Dyche we need to go for a top foreign Manager who can instill a ball possession type of mentality to Everton. I believe we do have the players for this but the squad is as fragile mentally as I’ve seen them in the last 10 years.
  5. I think your misunderstanding what the mans job is. It’s to save Everton from relegation this year. He won’t be around next year. His contract is more of a reward than a guaranteed tenure. We’ll have a new manager shortly after reaching 40 points.
  6. Right Aidan - he’s saved us from relegation using his shitty tactics. It was looking far worse before he got here. Call a spade a spade and thank the man for doing what he was brought in for. Expecting anything else is just fool hearty...
  7. Well mercifully we should get to the 40 point mark within these next five games - and before you all post YES it will happen. The question is - what do we do once this has been achieved? Could we explore a more offensive approach? Actually play all the talent we spent heavily on at the same time? Say thank you to Allerdyce and bring in next years manager giving him 8 games this year to start the offseason early? Thoughts frustrated Bluenoses?
  8. We now know that Leicester/Mahrez want 95 million package. Pay it. He's 26 and proven. Top 10 player in EPL when interested. Everton desperately need this type of player. Mangala not a bad signing but again another 'wait and see' type signing. If we are not in the running for a signing like Mahrez then we are not Everton FC.
  9. Everton need to overpay a top talent and build around him. Mahrez, Sanchez, Mikky, Silva type that are very good on the ball and result in defenders sitting off them. Only then will the likes of Lennon, Theo, Rooney, Siggy etc... be affective. We haven’t got that player and until we do no new signing will matter.
  10. Nice - look forward to future banter and opinions. Hoping the lads give us something to be a bit more positive about! ️
  11. Tough intro to the forum. When you said hammered I thought you were referring to your alcohol intake and not a reference to the product on the field. I now understand you. I still did not see any positive or holding of our own at any point of the game. ReReading your original post I’ll be more sensible in the future.
  12. Yes - my bad on Mirallas but point being it should not have got to that point... he should have been playing a regular role for this EFC squad. I saw the grinning Belgian at his introduction back to Olympiakos. Another mishandled ex-Evertonian as far as I’m concerned.
  13. We did not hold anything most certainly are own. We were shit from minute 1. I’m glad you clarified your sobriety cause only then does your comment make sense.
  14. Just saw Big Sam’s post game rant. W-O-W!!! And that’s not the good kind of wow. He was actually upset we tried to go forward at 2nil down... He described them as “Unprofessional”. I no longer understand the English Language. Unprofessional would mean they just pack up shop. They didn’t - the team as a whole is just shit with no direction. I honestly think deep down Big Sam feels that Everton’s season might come down to goal difference - what a scary thought. Here’s another thought Big Sam - play with five attacking players that actually want to attack and give us a chance to play with the lead or at least play with some type of consistency of line up. Rooney (think Paul Scholes), Tosun, Siggy (share the middle Wazza), Bolasse (fat or not) and Mirallas to start (don’t give a shit about feelings, on this team Mirallas should be playing). Lookman, Calvert-Lewin and Lennon (being nice) subs. Back three of Keane, Williams and Holgate until Coleman comes back. Protect these three with a MAXIMUM of two of the following - McCarthy, Gueye, #2, Davies, Vlasic or Besic. If this guy we’ve apparently signed named Klassen ever reappears we might want to play him also. Hmmm - Ex-Captain of Ajax and Europa League finalist might be worth giving more than three games to see what he adjust to in the EPL. We’ve basically given Rooney the keys to the city and we KNOW his arrow is downward trending. I have no idea what we have for a team and have watched every minute of every game. Lone striker... please make it stop... shocked to have 27 points but forever hopeful. Cnajfiehsnfjaidb - sorry that was me smashing my head against the keyboard... COYB -
  15. If I see another ball passed from an Everton player to our back line only to see it smashed forward to an unchallenged Spurs backline I’m going to lose my mind. Watched every game this year and here’s my take... Pickford - our keeper for the next 10 years if he doesn’t leave for CL side first. Jags - shit and two years past it. More times than not is hammering the ball back to the opposing team. Kenny - young and getting ripped apart due to his positioning. Does not get forward near enough. Seamus can’t get back fast enough but who knows what he’ll be like on return. Martina - makes me think I could jump on a plane and start at Everton tomorrow. The worst player to play for EFC in 10 years. Baines must be really hurting. McCarthy - can tackle but then has no idea what to do with the ball. He can go too... Ghana - decent, hard working ball winner. Holgate - bright spot but still young. #2 - I refuse to speak his name... £27million for this??!! Must have had pictures of Koeman in compromising positions. Competing with Martina for worst player ever... Rooney - wise but old legs and slow. Siggy - cannot blame a guy for the price tag someone else puts on him. He MUST PLAY IN THE MIDDLE AHEAD OF ROONEY - there I said it. Couldn’t tackle a paper bag full of feathers. It’s not what he was bought for but then again EFC insist on playing him as a winger which he’s not either. Klassen - I don’t actually believe he exists. Bolasse - another bright spot but coming back from brutal injury. Tosun - gets a pass today. Calvert-Lewin - a racehorse but young. Has not show the class I’d like to see around the box for a striker. Lookman - doesn’t play enough. I’d loan him out if we’re not going to use him. Lennon - doesn’t get the ball enough in good positions. He’s not good enough to produce chances himself. He is average at best. All in all our team is shit and 40pts can’t come fast enough. 2 shots on target over the last 3 games is dumbfounding...
