No one knows here was it going on the inside of everton, however it is without confirmation from the club what is going on it is left to people to work things out for themselves.

Everton are meant to be selling AJ

DM HAS said he wants/NEEDS 5 or 6 new players

The season is only 15 days away and we have 3 less players than we did at the end of last season and once AJ gone that will be 4

The squad is not big enough to handle an attack on a decent finish in the premiership and a good run in all the cups.

The clubs around us HAVE improved their squads and we have been left behind.

DM said 3 weeks ago or so that he wanted new player

DM is quoted as saying that there won't be any movement in the near future at present for new signings.

Agree up to the last point there... thats the comment that has everyone running around in circles.........

Although its quoted i dont exactly think its credible.... it seems a little twisted and out of contex when you read the story.....

WE NEED INVESTMENT!!! We won't improve without new players an we need investment to get money so we can improve an increase our sqaud size not having to sell players in order to buy thats just idiotic!

I think at any other time his apparent knee injury wouldnt have been a problem........I think Fulham have just siezed an opertunity to try and reduce the asking price......

A down side maybe to us insisting we have zero funds for transfers

Because Moutinho has a contract with the club and the minimum fee release clause of 25 million euro has expired on June 25th. The player signed the contract less than 6 months ago and has the highest wage in the team. So Sporting will only sell him if and how they want. Which sounds reasonable.

Since the time that Everton announced they had accepted an offer for Aj Spurs managed to sell Keane, Buy Bently and Avisham agent say he has agreed personnal terms with Spurs.

Looking between the lines KW has been the blocker on the transfer front, hopefully Kirkby has fell through and its all come to a head. Much rather have cash in the bank buy a team thats worthy of a top of the range stadium then move to somewhere actually in the City. I do think KW wanted the money to push Kirkby through, hopefully we stay at Goodison for now.

What money in the bank? I dont know but "reading between the lines" as you put it ALL our money is borrowed as we are told everyday by the likes of KEIOC...

That money would be borrowed, in the future of course, against brick & morter and possibly increaed revenues at our new ground.......
