1. I thought we done enough to win the game but we didnt kill the game of simple as. On another day we could have scored 4 but it didnt happen.

Still unbeaten and yes AJ is scoring but we need to win games like this.

Keep the faith though blues :D

I was disappointed very very disappointed. And I suppose the lads themselves are disappointed. Neville Quoted in the dressing room it felt more like a defeat than a draw. anyway is Beattie suppose to be scoring goals? like he use to for southampton against us.:angry::angry:

After this latest shambolic defeat at Bolton I think Rafa Beneathus must start getting his act together. :P

  3. Was Hansen watching?

Taken from his BBC online column

Liverpool were a little unlucky at Goodison in that they had a couple of penalty shouts turned down and hit the woodwork twice but their overall performance was not great.

    What a wa**er!

    49637

WAS it cos he once was a RS player

  4. It's a hard one this, if only surpluss was still in a job, it would be easy then....

Coleman is a possiblity, don't see any of the new teams getting rid, no point really.

Don't see Harry losing his to be honest, old saggy face is still building so I think he will be given time.

Jewell is admired by the chairman and supporters alike, I don't see it meself.

Roeder is always a possiblity whilst Freddy Shepeard is chairman at Newcastle. If there not in the top 6 after half the games played I can see him going.

I can see Big Sam walking out to be honest, he doesnt look to have the same enthiusasm with his wheelings and dealings.

    Roeder or Sam for me.

    45254

I don't think big Sam will walk out on Bolton cos they have been all his football life.

He might have done if he was offered the England job.

    Any way Coleman or Roeder.

  5. Have to admit: have only seen a few of your matches, but from what I've seen, Tim looks to have performed quite solidly for you so far. As an American, I'm intrigued by his loan spell there, and hope that good things continue to happen for him. (Well, except against LFC, of course  :D )

At age 27, he looks to be the future of America in goal for international matches. Hahnemann (Reading's GK) is 34, but Keller's 37 and Friedel's retired.

What do all of you think of him? And do you think he'll stay permanently, or go back to M    an U?

    51846

Bring back Richard(Flapper)Wright. ONLY JOKING :D

I think he's given the team more confidence as Mr Southall used to do.

I think will get him permanently especially if we qualify for europe.

If we don't who else is there ?

  6. Was reading the EFC site article where Alan Irvine has stressed that the Carling Cup is a competition that Everton will take seriously.  But what would you prefer to concentrate on... Carling Cup, or FA Cup (when it comes around)?

    51177

The F A Cup for me it's traditional. However the carling cup would make a change seeing we've never won it. But overall the Premiership would'nt go amiss.

  7. Considering a few seasons ago:

    1. At least now we have a Plan A how!!!

    2. We now have Arteta, Cahill, Neville, Osman, VDM, Davies AND Carsley in our midfield, rather than Gasgoine, Ginola, Watson, Kilbane, Alexandersoon etc

    3. With Arteta we have very good delivery from out wide and VDM is on the books and could come good!

    4. Not so long ago all we had was Marcus Bent, with big Dunc as a replacement for long ball football. If Gerrard, Rooney, Henry, etc were injured - its the same for most teams.

    5. Telfon could be number 1!!!Chances are Howard will never go back, so we should be in pole position come next summer to get a permenant signiture - if we want him, try before you by isn't a bad option.

    6. We have a better quality squad now than we have had in many a year. Small numbers It is also one of the reasons our team has such togetherness. Liverpool are having trouble keeping everybody in a large squad happy.

    7. Two players I am glad are knocking at the doors of Goodison. at the beginning of last season we only had James V knocking, so in that are we have improved 100%.

I agree we have got plenty of work to do before we get to a level we want to be at, but given the past 10 years there is plenty to be upbeat about. Now we are talking about regular challenging for European places, maybe a cup win with the squad now, instead of having enough quality in the squad just to stay in the Prem -that is a huge difference.

Can anybody tell me what happened with Per Kroldrup
