  1. you are joking arn't you? have you seen Wright play? you mention experience, well how the hell does he get it at the top level if you want to stick teflon in ahead of him, bound to fill the lad with confidence that isn't it. also Wright hardly played that much for Arsenal did he?

    Richard Wright has been unlucky

Although initially first-team keeper at Everton, a number of injuries, including a serious knee injury and a damaged shoulder (after Wright fell out of his loft in a freak accident),

He player 22 times for arsenal in one season

Wright started out at Ipswich Town played a major role in Ipswich's 1999-2000 season. The club were promoted from the old First Division to the Premier League via the play-offs, defeating Barnsley, and Wright saved an all-important penalty kick.

Wright has been included in 28 squads and capped twice for England, making his début against Malta in a friendly in 2000; he conceded a penalty kick early on but saved a second penalty in the 88th minute as England won 2-1. He was a member of the England Euro 2000 squad, where he was third-choice behind David Seaman and Nigel Martyn, and won his second cap as a substitute in a friendly against the Netherlands in 2001. However, he has not been called up to the England squad since 2003.

im not saying that wright is amazing he has been unlucky and has got experience i would rather play Turner because he has been playing well for wednesday.

  2. I don't know how good he is, but he has been at the club for 5 years nearly and moyes chooses to play wright ahead of him, and in terms of the modern game today, 23 is not young, but we will see.

most goalkeepers dont peak until mid 20's to 30's look at David James. Wright has alot more experience than turner, wright has played for arsenal. it is like putting a young player with hardly any experience against a experienced player who would you pick in the premiership.

  3. My personal option on the matter is people shouldn't have sex until they are financially and emotionally able to deal with the possible outcomes that can arise from it.

if you wear a rubber hat then there is a 99.9% that the other will not get pregant so just wear 2 :)

then there is a 198% that they wont so it is impossible lol

  4. Funny that Zed should raise the topic of AJ, as I was just thinking about AJ when watching Match of the Day last night. AJ has been a success for us so far, no question. His workrate and pace are a problem to teams and his goals return good when you consider that we are still a team based mainly around keeping things tight and grabbing a goal to win games.

However, maybe some of the reaction to him (by the press as much as anything) has been OTT. Look at how many goals players like Berbatov, Keane, Yakubu and Kevin Doyle have scored this season, mainly with less hype.

Please be clear, I see AJ as a central part of our team for the coming 3 or 4 years hopfully and if we get the same return each season then we would have got our money's worth. But maybe in the cold light of day it is a combination of the sheer lack of goalscoring strikers that we have had for years and the début goal and the hat-trick against the RS (fantastic!) that has led to an over-reaction?

    Just a thought.

In the meantime, beat Portsmouth and we should be into the UEFA Cup (they won't all get to 58 points to pip us) and the chance to go to the next level that we all feel we're close to..

    Come on Blues.

he didnt get a hat-trick against RS he got 2 cahill got the other.

  5. i am disapointed we played well we could have won it if we converted our chances.

but they are desperate and had 12 men behind the ball so off course it was hard to score but BT had 2 chances and if it was AJ they would have been goals but that is how it was and there is no point moanin about it we gotta look forward to the Manure game

  6. yeh mainly coz our government give em free council houses and child benefits.

we should do what the dutch do and send em home to thier parents. give em sod all and less 14 year olds will have children

but if we let millions of children go hungary and homeless i think the country would be in a worst state. it aint the childs fault hu there parents are. there is no way of stopping teenagers have sex the more the goverment say dont do it the more they will coz they think there 'ard

  7. $1bn wont stop people from having sex lmao

i no people that were 13 or 14 lol i aint saying that is kool (but it is life that is the way teenagers are these days)

in america it 18 the age of consent in this country there are mothers of 2 or 3 by that age lol

  8. Having read some of the extreme over reactions to a loss away i can imagine a mod has killed the thread in disgust at some of the fickle modern day twatty twit face bastard comments that should be reserved for when we have something reall to moan about

Some of you fuckers need to get a reality check

well you know what the best solution is dont put up the matches untill it has finished and if everton lose dont put it up coz it is normal for fans to be disapointed when you ur team has so many chances and doesnt take one of them. when a team gets relagated do u expect them to be happy and say o well at least we aint in the conference

  9. I don't think we were robbed at all, I think theres more to the deal then people see. I think Moyes has had an agreement with Ferguson that we get first choice on any players that he doesn't want anymore ..... Think about it .....

We've got Neville, Been linked with a loan move for Saha, Been linked with Scholes, I've heard some rumours about us with Kieran Richardson, Been linked with Roy keane and also We got Howard.

So I think we got the best part of the deal if you ask me ;)

i also read somewhere that we get a % if they sell him to another club. i dunno if that is true. if it is that will be cool

  10. good result today for us - two points dropped by pompey and their negative tactics

now all we need to do is beat portsmouth and we will be in europe (either via the intertoto or in the uefa cup outright)

i wouldnt be too worried about yestersdays, result as a flukey 25yard shot by zamora was the only difference between the teams.

dont forget west ham have also beaten arsenal and man utd at upton park this season by the odd goal

im not worried about how they scored it was a great goal i am worried that we should have won with all the chances we had.

  11. If he was that good,we would have seen him more involved with first team activites by now.

since his loan to sheffield wednesday they have not lost with him in goal 11 games that is. He started every game since his going there so you dont think he is that good and he is only 23 that is still quite young for a keeper. Also Tim Howard has also been in great form 13 clean sheets i think

  12. it was disappointing that we didnt convert our chances we had so many chances to change the game i am happy with our progress this year and i believe that if we want to do well in europe we need to convert our chances.

  13. If Sheffield Wednesday Made a good offer for Turner?

do you think we should accept it because lets get real he wont be number one next season and howard will be able to play every game next year.

i think he would rather be with wednesday playing everygame and being there number one instead of being our second choice.

i like turner i think he is great but it is in best interest for him. he isnt that young anymore he is 23 and i think he would like to be number one.
