Personally, i'd say our defense is pretty solid at the moment,

but i think it'd be good if we bought a decent cover for baines at left back instead of just playing lescott there so he could have more time at CB

and maybe get a quality right back as well.

forwards i have no problems with, especially once james vaughan is back

midfield: i reckon we deperately need a true, quality left winger and another right winger as well

as much as i would love a clean sheet, i don't think its gonna happen. i'd say 1-1 or 2-1 to us. ronaldo's back for the game so that might be a problem, but the rest of manure aren't playing particularly well.

Neville isnt good enough for our team anymore, why doesnt Moyes realise it ffs! I think we look best with a 4 1 3 2, we played a hardworking watford team and hammered them with it.

Carsley would be very effective in that formation because the Attacking midfielders and strikers could all go forward and if any teams brake Carsley is a good player to brake them up, but we would have less wasted balls that Neville would do.

thatd be a great lineup cept seeing as neville IS the skipper he'd probably go where cars is. that way pip and jags could be interchanged

i'd rather moyes saves his money right now than to make some rushed deal for someone we're unsure of. i'd say wait till january, see who's for sale and then buy a quality mid that we're more sure of.

now that fernandes has snubbed us, do you think moyesy will make a bit for any other midfielders before the window is up? or do you think we'll have to wait until january for any other transfters? are there any quality mids still on the market that we could have a chance at getting? cause i know i'm not the only one who thinks we need all the help we can get.

i would have been happy to have him, but if hes gonna play us by all but telling us that we are the club he wants to sign for and then going off and signing for a different club within 24 hours i don't think he deserves to be signed. i don't blame him for signing for valencia but there was no reason for him to snub us the way he did.

we played mediocre at best today. i reckon we played really well from the start of the match until blackburn scored. we kind of moped around after that. although we did pick up again towards the end of the half. we play okay second half. great work by arteta on the goal. i don't know why carsley started. pienaar/jags should have started instead of him. assuming the two signings are all sorted out by next weekend, i reckon the starting lineup should be:

we took ten shots, six of them on frame. we just need to finish better. yobo didn't even get on target from inside the six yard box. i say put pienaar in, give him a chance to do what he did for ajax. i'll be surprised if he doesn't get put in at least sometime the second half. maybe we could do with anichebe in there also.
