  1. just to repeat something I have said in a previous thread:

"Can't help but think though, why are we continuing to look behind us when Chelsea are only 5 points in front. It is far easier being the chasers rather than the chasees (?) and we should be looking onward and upward, not back to the likes of lowly Liverpool.

This is a massive club and we shouldn't "settle" for forth. I hope Moyes is telling his players that 3rd place is in our reach. We still have Chelsea to play at Goodison and that could be a MASSIVE game. We are well overdue a victory against them.

    COYB!!! "

  2. Sums up the season pretty well so far.

  3. haha, funnily enough i nearly had a bad smash there just after i passed my test about 7 years ago, but saying that, it wasnt the fault of the speed limit on the road, it was the fault of my stupidity as a 17 year old driver.

Yeah the speed limit there is fine. Would be daft to reduce it to 30mph and have us dawdling along.

Big news for Newton though, finally puts us on the map!

  4. I was seeing a lot of people leaving the ground, starting from around 10 minutes to go last night, what is the deal with this?!

All the Brann fans were ripping the piss waving at all the early departures in the Park End but i thought it was a disgrace. I mean I can understand it when we are losing like 4-0 or something but when we are 5-1 up and looking like scoring every time we go forward? What is all that about??

The players must kinda think "fuck you" to all the fans leaving after putting on such a good performance and then seeing them leave early to beat the traffic or get to the bar first.

    Discuss...

  8. My question: why the negative attitude towards everton when covering the carling cup game on sky sports news?

I was watching him when everton were playing west ham in the cup and tony cottee was covering that game... I don't think i've ever seen such one sided jounalism in my entire life... When Yakubu scored in basically the 90th minute the man was devastated... I don't think he cares much for everton any more somehow...

  9. Hello all..

I'm pleased to announce that we are back :)

    This is what happened

Due to the Chelsea game a lot of people were taking an interest in the site and the Evertonian opinions this led us to surpassing the bandwidth limit for the first time. It wasn't easy to get the site going again due to us having lost contact with Jon (Z-Cars) and it wasn't as simple as requesting an extra gigabyte here or there. The hosts would not speak to me about upgrading the bandwidth as the hosting account had nothing to do with me (it was all in Jon's name).

We've had to create our own account and move the site over to here, the site is now fully independent :) We've had a slight boost in bandwidth too, we now have 20gb and not 15gb.

As always we'll keep ToffeeTalk advert free.

good work louis!!! good to see you guys back, have missed checking the site over the last few days!
