Seriously? I hope he starts playing like that and realises - just like Yobo, Arteta, and Cahill - that this club is worth staying at.

Also no sportsman who thanks God in interviews should ever win anything in my book. It's so fucking annoying.
Brazilian footballers do it come rain or shine
Also, I agree with Licker; Hamilton for me, it was very unlucky what happened to him.
-
I think Hoyte is seriously unproven over a full season playing in various competitions, which is what we're aiming for.
-
we have no idea if AJ has asked for £x or if Everton have approached him with £x
Exactly what I was going to say. Before he is labelled a money-grabber, how about considering that he was offered the money? If so, then I doubt any one here would turn it down.

I remember loving the way Stevie played a couple years ago back at Ajax. Great to see him doing it for us after a troubled time at a tumultuous club

True. I misread, my apologies.

Pan's Labyrinth = quality.

Me and the woman *may* go down the docks to see theirs... maybe.

Mintal and Charisteas are pretty good, dangerous players whilst Galasek is a pretty good leader and a neat defensive player, so it's not going to be too easy if those players are on song. However, I'm still pretty confident of a good result.

lol, he's already at a big club

Carsley has to play for me in a 5, I honestly don't think there are many better in that holding position in the league. In a 442 he's pretty useless! oh and I'd have Neville at RB, Jags had a good game on Sat but I'm not convinced he deserves to start yet.
Be interesting to see what happens when AJ and Vaughan are fit, I can't see Moyes leaving them on the bench but at the same time the 451 is obviously our best formation, I think Moyes will just mix it up depending on the oppostion.
I think a certain Mr. Makelele would disagree about our Cars being the best in the league at holding
Yeah, I'll be okay with Nev at RB, just as long as he doesn't start hoofing it or passing the ball to them. <_<
I agree re: the strikers. But I still think that sometimes a 2 up front will work, i.e. at home against Sunderland or someone like that so we can go for the jugular.

I want this game, but my PS2 broke. I was thinking about getting a 360 but I can't stand the pad for the original X Box and get the impression they haven't improved it much. PES6 on the PS2 is my favourite game even now, it's pure quality.

I can understand your English more so than most English people I know, so there's nothing to worry about there mate. Welcome to the site

Hi

^ I second those comments.
I've got a strange feeling about this game. I'll go 3-0 to us.
-
I meant long term. It's the mentality of "we're lucky to be here" teams to stick with a 4-5-1 IMO
Plus, our midfield will get too stretched with tiredness, injuries, and suspension if we play 4-5-1 every single game. I mean, we have 5 strikers and are only playing one up front. Like I said, it's a long term issue, but it does have drawbacks short term as well.

I think we should look at eventually playing AJ and Yak together. If we want to be in the top six then we need to be playing 4-4-2 like the other teams. We've got enough players that can play in the first 11 so they can be rotated and rested over a season.
Couldn't be happier with the result, and looked like a fairly good performance by the boys.

What Blue4Ever picked, only I'd have Cars in holding and leave Tommy on the bench.
-
Now we need the board to back up the teams progress with some money for players in January. I just hope Moyes can pick out a couple good buys.

Yak is class

The weirdest thing is I've seen the odd BRAZILIAN called Everton. Bloody odd.
-
Yeah, he's had a lot of faith put in him and come out with little end product. Based on his form for Scotland, he then started to look good for us, but I think he still has been inconsistent and Timmy still looks miles better than him and he's been injured so much for ages!

christmas has lost its appeil as many are fed up with it by fucking november, never mind towards the end of december.
Totally agree. In work, they get selection boxes and Xmas gifts (deodorant packs and all that) in half way through September. It's a bloody joke is what it is.

Sounds in the mould of someone to be Cars' replacement.

Yeah, we could get a hammering by Chelsea if the lads are jaded, injured or whatever. However, we have Sunderland after Chelsea so regardless of whether they're tired or not, if we can't beat Sunderland with the squad we've got then we may as well give up the chase for the UEFA place now.
