    I'm sure some people thought he was twice the player Jelavic was?

     

    Use the arguments he's only had a few games blah blah blah but when a player can't trap a ball, pass a ball or shoot (with no player around, direction in his favour and a GK who looked like a rabbit in headlights), he should still hit that target, how ever little games he's played.

     

    I played beach 3 on 3 at the weekend, for two hours solid. First time in over a year (easily). I'm overweight and i have a bad back. Against some semi-professional players (my mates), I scored 12 of 15 goals, playing in a position not dissimilar to them. I scored 3 with my left, 1 with my head and 8 with my right. All in goals less than 3ft wide. NOw, i'm not blowing smoke up my own arse, but if I can do it with all things considered. I EXPECT a "premier league" footballer, getting paid over £30k a week (!?) to at least hit the fucking target. at least.

     

    :rofl: :rofl: :rofl:spot on mate & beach togger is rock hard n all, I played in Mexico agianst a load of south americans I was in goal & stayed in goal after 15 minutes, effin knackered!

    I'd have to agree with C1982 he was absolutely shite, offered absolutely nothing going forward, his passes where basic at best (if completed), his heading was absolutely useless, his control was OK (always back to goal tho), his shooting however was abysmal OMG totally piss poor, he looks absolutely awful 5Mill wasted IMO, gutted but happy to be proved wrong although Anichebe (& yes we have all said exactly the same about him bar last season) has to be getting back into the team ahead of Kone now although behind Jelly 1st obviously, we really need to re-enforce the striker area buit we prob wont because of signing Kone, hence I believe we have wasted 5Mill :-(

    Is it just me as well, thinking there's some correlation between Feli not looking at all arsed in all recent pre-season games cos he doesnt wanna get injured so he can get a move (I know he's never really looked that arse in pre seasons before)?

    If I was him (not that there has even been an official approach) but I'd be thinking Eff U Utd, you can't get ANY of your other targets & now youre thinking I'm a step down from them & they're not even (again I know its all paper talk at the mo) prepared to pay top dollar for me!?

    I can see him being like a new signing this season under Martinez, gone are the days of not playing youth under carrot head, FINGERS CROSSED!!!

     

    Thing is not only is he young, exciting, got bags of potential but he is himself a blue & that's who I wan't to see wearing an E f C real bluenoses like Banies, Hibbert ( :-| ), Barkley!

    & is it me or is anyone bored now of Moyes news is still Everton news because his stories always have the keyword Everton in.... I loved him I really did but he's gone and its time for us to forget him, in the nicest possible way, Effin Press!

    Martinez - I've really gone off the idea of him AT ALL NOW the more time I've had to think about him... over-rated I believe & F4S HIS team just got relegated


    Please, please let us speak to either of these boys, I'm more leaning toward Vítor Pereira, league finishes Sunday (1st) and Germany finishes tom (8th)

    Great shout. Not really considered but actually, could do very well. Works with little, to no financial clout and still produces very good teams.

     

    Worked miracles with Hertha, considering their lack of funds and also saw the sale of their best players, only to finish well. Doing a grand job at Borussia Moch., 4th and 8th place finishes in the last two seasons, with a very limited squad.

     

    Will keep an eye on that one, thanks DRS.

    no problemo, there's absolutely no one for me that we've been linked to other than these 3, although Lucien Favre isn't getting mentioned :-(

     

    Anyone know an email address I can send this list of 3 managers to? LOL

    I was just mulling over all this, reading all your posts & it hit me, if we actually believe Moyes (is a good manager for what he's done with us, budget wise, constraints etc...) & that he can go on and work with better / improved resources with Manc Utd and succeed that logic applies to Martinez if he came to us ie. a more superior (stable) club like EfC (Vs Wigan)???

    The more I think about it the more I think Martinez could actually do a decent job for us, assuming we get him.

    He gets his team to play proper football, something we've always craved at EfC + if we can keep the spine of our squad + the incoming £ from probably a couple of sales (Felli & Hopefully not Baines) start playing the youth we have got coming through which Moyes consistently ignored the likes of Barkley, Green etc, then I think we could actually continue to be a force next season & onward.

    + hes got a couple of decent players he could bring with Mcmnamananananananan (+ he's a bluensoe) and the other Mc's (not Ronald) before anyone says anything rolleyes.gif

    Does anyone know where we are with his injury? Date expected back?

     

    Its soooo frustrating knowing we have a player like him at the club not playing, he is exactly what we need @ the 'Mo to be unlocking the door of these bloody draws I think, gutted he's been out sooooo long after that goofy cheating mallaka took him out in the derby, grrrr shaking fist.png

     

    Cant wait to have him back, but I'm not holding my breath as to when it'll be!!! But as ever the EFC site just says unknown.
