  1. Site's workin for me no news on there yet, Fussy chill out mate its not a panic buy thats if its true like check back a few pages on this thread mate i put a link on which says we've looked at this lad before and bid for him in the past so doesnt look knee jerk or like a panic buy either way he looks good and from what i've seen and heard he's what we need you never know could turn out to be a better option then JM if its true

  2. expensive panic buying in my opinion.

why has it come to this, i hope we get know one now.

Everton Football CLub what a complete and utter fuck up, fucking shame on you.

Dont think its a panic buy mate as we have looked at this lad in the past and had a bid refused in March

  3. Cant say i know much about the lad tbh his wiki says he's a box to box midfielder who is 6ft4 pretty much covers two things we need in one and would add much needed height and presence, probebly confirms if the interest is true that montinho is now a no go. I found this whilst having a look for info on him seems we've been in for him in the past but our bid was refused which at least gives the impression it isnt a panic buy.

  4. Yakubu = brilliant when on form

Vaughan = quality but a bit injury prone

    Saha = will barely play

    Vic = not good enough

Larsson = old and well past his best

When it's broken down like that our forwards looks pretty worrying.

shush your not ment to let others know

Well i cant argue with your summaries mate, id like Vic to go out on loan to Preston hopefully with an option to buy as like you said not good enough and doesnt seem he ever will be tbh, back to larsson like i said your right he's past his best but did well for united when they brought him on not so long ago which is more then likely the reason he may be on his way here for as an experienced impact player, he still has abit of juice left in him and hasnt lost much pace from what i can remember.

Not a player to push us on but one with experience who the younger lads can learn from he also has alot of graft in him and seems a decent bloke.

  5. He may be past his best on nocking on but he has bags of experience tried and tested at all levels and a great striker, he obviously wont be a starting player and i think he will be a good player to bring on when needed he did well in the few games he played for United in tough games so i cant see why ppl are really against it we'll have Yakubu vaughan Saha Anichebe and Larsson if he comes which to me isnt a bad set of forwards by most teams standards.

  6. We cant get back to what works because Carsley has gone. Its only after they've gone that you appreciate what you had.

True mate Carsley was the engine of the team and was what made our defenders work so well with him dealing with the bullet and the lads at the back clearing the shrapnel if you get me drift  hopefully Castillo can fill Carsleys boots and add that little bit extra if not and we dont shape up soon were pretty much fucked

  7. its priority to get at least some signings in the bag, but i reckon this guy is goin nowhere. ihope he'll come good but he seems lazy; he never tried to help his career and move out the premiership, he just sat on the bench earnin wages at united. at least theres another experienced striker in the team now. good grab for about 2 mil tho, much better than smudge as you say. :)

He hasnt been sat on the bench collecting wages he's been injured for some time up until recently

  8. Aye i agree with you Jamie pretty much my thoughts on the matter aswell, at the end of the day we all expected better and deservedly so but we have to play the hand we have been dealt and i am alot happier then i was last week when it looked as if not one player would arrive.

RB is a position which needed improvement imo and hopefully Jocobsen can claim his stake and be what we need, Castillo seems from what i have read as i have not seen him play apart from a few clips a good player as Jamie said BBurn wanted him but terms couldnt be agreed, Obinna look like a very good prospect as ive said in another post you dont have the likes of Roma and other big European teams courting you if your dogshit so chances are he'll be a good acquisition, Saha is a proven prem player who when fit is a very good striker who's got alot of experiance and bags of goals left in him. I know we havent signed the names we all wanted but we have started to cover positions which we needed to and when other players are back from injuries we will have the same starting team bar Carsley as last season plus by the looks of it more added quality i think ppl have let names and so on blind them abit from the fact our squad where by all means the fith best squad in this league i know the likes of Villa and so on have signed players but will they come good there's as much of a chance as our signings of doing so, just look at Spurs spend big get "names" then play like a bunch of pissed up sunday league players. This is just my opinion like it could go tits up but nows the time to start backing our lads and hoping for a good season.

  9. i think it was EFC-Paul that wrote that, in comment to the "Everton, a club that has not any ambition to the conquest of titles." ;)

And another thing, although that was painful to read (fking online translations), that's not a recent story. that was a summary from like a week or 2 ago. I broused our 3 online sports papers just now, and saw no mention of moutinho. i even checked some other newspapers and nothing.

so watch those crossed fingers, mates. you might need to keep them crossed till next year :D

Aye i did ad that little bit :P that was taken from a portugues newspaper article from august the 28th so it cant be to old the only part which may be is the bit about your derby game other then that i think the rest is recent news as i said before its from the 28th.

  10. I know he's very injury prone but to say he's overrated and not worth signing as some have suggested is imo really daft, the bloke is a proven prem player and is one of the best in the buisness when playing, ppl cant compare him to VDM as Saha isnt a lazy piss head who's problems are mental not just physical United have an exellent medical team and facilities so i dont think he's got away with sitting in the stands with just a sick note from his mum he's had a bad time with injuries thats all nothing to do with just collecting money and being a lazy twit. We know what Moyes can do with players and if he gets Saha fit and rearing to go him together with Yak will be imo one of the best pairings in the league if played together which i think will be the case.

  11. I do like Milner (as a person) i think he conducts himself very well, i lke that he doesn't use an agent or anything like that. But I can see him fitting in well at everton but i can't see him coming here. He's be a good (but very expensive) addition to the squad. Not sure if he's worth 10m, but what's anyone worth anymore! Prices nowdays are plain stupid.

I agree with what your saying mate he does seem a good lad who would fit in well here i know prices are bonkers in todays monopoly but for a talented young English player id say he'd be worth it.

  12. I've just been having a nosey through google with Portuguese as my prefered language and came across this its from today, its not the most clear reading ever but basically says from what i can gather that Mountinho wasnt granted his 10% share from the bid we made and isnt very happy about it which gives a little hope in its self also that they are waiting for another offer from us this week

Anderson Polga was the leonine captain in the Sunday dérbi, when the absence of John Moutinho was given and he appeared pleased with to installment of the team in the triumph on the embodied ones, which considered importantly to launch the time.

" We are all of congratulations, it is a beginning, a step what we are giving in the daily pay-time and waiting to continue so, determined, hard-working and concentrated on the play to have a strong team this time ", it told.

In spite of recognizing some defensive mistakes, central office points out what are still lacking automatisms, prefers them to me to point out the union of the team and not to do any comparison with the straight adversaries. " We behaved very well, it does not want to say them to me that we am good or bad, we have the same time of work, we are still in the beginning, the things are complicated, but the concentration, determination and the will of doing what the trainer asks for each player, it does so that the team is strong inside the field.

    John Moutinho locks an arm-

--de-ferro with the leonine SAD to receive what believes to have a right due to the proposal of the Everton that was refused by the lions and, at the same time, it waits for new approach of the Englishmen.

The leonine middle thing disposes of the understanding of some of the companions of the plantel, but others it are what did not like the attitude of the captain of team, since they understand that the personal problems will not be a cause of interference with the work of the group, overcoat when espoletam the declar

The fact of John Moutinho to be crossing moments complicated in his relation with the father and of, financially, the middle thing had done an investment that does not do the pretended U-turn, they do so that Moutinho thinks about the immediate one and is disposed accepting the proposal of the Everton, a club that has not any ambition to the conquest of titles. CHEEKY FUCKERS!!!!

These factors and the influence of his businessman, Pini Zahavi, place the head of the middle one in the Everton. However, the captain entered in an arm from iron with the SAD, since it thinks that the proposal of the "toffees" is an official and, since it was refused, Moutinho it considers to have a right to receive the value registered in his contract, in other words, 10 % of 15 millions (1,5 million euros).

His displeasure relatively to the fact of the SAD of not having the same opinion turned in the decided public declaration

In spite of they all try to reduce the wave of shock provoked by the words of the captain, the fact is that same they affect the cohesion of the group, which, even so, is disposed supporting 28. " It is a situation of the club with the player, we, independently of the situation, we will remain at our place and what is necessary is is tranquillity to be able to work ", Anderson Polga curled.

In spite of urged commenting on if this one seriates the certain moment in order that the captain leaves, Polga was evasive. " John

But, so that doubts did not remain, Polga gave his support to Moutinho: " It makes part of our group, we tell of him ", it clarified. The Everton, meantime, will have still to raise the proposal for Moutinho this week."

Not much like but gives a slight hint where still in there with a shout

  13. Im very very optimistic about JM coming now myself like the Sporting lads have said the lure of CL football within a club that love him may be to much also Sporting will know the bigger clubs playng in the CL will have a look at their man and if he performs his price will rocket so if they have faith in the boy as im sure they do they will think ahead and keep hold as they need him and then bigger offers from more attractive clubs will come, I'd love him to come here like everyone else as he is a world class player in the making but i feel we may have left this one to late hopefully im talking out of my arse which usually is the case :D

  14. Moyes has said often enough that Moutino and Mbia are on his wanted list, and Milito is supposed to be Johnsons replacement, to even be looking at those type of players you need at least £28 million. Go get them Moyesy. :P

I get your drift matey to state his interest in those players without money would be to far gone so i do believe we have a decent lump sat there and i dont mean Kenwright.

  15. Moyes has said that he wants to bring quality into the club to move us forward. Unfortunately for one reason or another we haven't picked up those flagship signings we all want to see.

Which leaves only limited options really.

    1. Pay over the odds for average players, and erode whatever budget we do have on lads who are just fill ins.

    2. Save the budget for January/whenever we can get these quality players in, and get loans/free transfers in.

    3. Not sign anyone at all, and get slammed for it.

It's been said before, and I'll say it again.... When they pull on that shirt, and walk out to represent our club, we'll still cheer them regardless. Trust me, I remember Brett Angell!!!!

I hope its option two mate

  16. At least this loan signing has a bit of potential.

We're looking a bit of a joke with spending nothing at all though  .

Yeah have to agree he looks like he has potential and must be decent with having the likes of Milan Roma and erm WestHam :D courting him, I hope that these loaned/free players that we bring in are to boost our numbers and Moyes to have a fair bit of money available to spend on one or two quality players saying that these lads may turn out to be unearthed gems i dont think many would have got exited when Lescott's and Pienaar's names where mentioned before they signed in saying that i am pissed off like most we have'nt managed to bring in a big name or dare i say yet  .
