  1. Beat Sunderland 2-0 so the good form is back.

Without Jagielka Tottenham will score. I'm going for a 3-1 win for us. I think that Fellaini will score first followed by Jo before Robbie Keane/Pavlechenkyo scores to goal to pull it back. With the second half kinda' wrapped up Leighton will fire home the third and win the game for us. Gomes will be the key factor for me, he's absolutely shite. Total waste of fuckin' money for them.

Should be a win. Let's hope it is.

I wouldn't read too much into the win over Sunderland, i was at the game and although we played well, they were absolutely shocking, no desire to chase or want the ball, Spurs however are chasing 7th and europe, this will be a tough game with our minds set on the final, im going to say 1-1, Fellaini to score.

  2. ? .. Bayern isn't a team that can afford to mail it in for one year .. they gotta be there at the top evey year.. i don't think there's a chance in hell they'll let Toni or Klose go.. Podolski is most of the time a benchplayer for them so he's probably available.

New manager, new ideas, why not mate, id have any 1 of them

  3. The fact that we dont have a fit striker available for the final is very disapointing, unless Saha or Vaughan prove miracles can happen. Im not sure Jo is the striker we need, hes scored a few but missed more, i think 4-5-1 formation against Chelsea will work nicely, theyre very strong in midfield but i have to say i quite fancy our chances for the cup, hopefully Chelsea will make the CL final and we get no more injuries,

  4. As loyal as Kenwright appears to be, we will never be a serious top 4 premier league league club untill we get a new owner with billions to spend on the club, just the way football is now.

I for 1 want us up challenging in the CL against the likes of Barcelona every season, but it aint going to happen untill Kenwright leaves or gives up his ownership to someone with a big bank account

  5. i gave it to fellaini ... together with baines the best man on the pitch..

totally don't understand why he was taken off .. and that wasn't helped by the fact subs didn't do jack shit (except for goslings late goal).

our first half was pretty good .. we didn't deserve to be down then ..

after the second goal, but mostly after those substitutions, the wheels came off.

yobo and osman : pfff .

hope jags is ok ... onward and upward. <_< .

Im not 100% certain but i think ive read that Fellaini is 2 bookings away from missing the cup final

  6. I'd go for Ji-Sung Park for £5 mil.

He can play on the right, is a decent all round player who can play in the centre of the park, he tracks back, he's got a decent cross but more importantly he's a good passer of the ball. Park, Arteta and Pienaar across the midfield would be pretty strong along the floor football, and I might be alone, but I think we're better at it when we do play it.

We tore through Villa in short bursts when we passed along the ground. Park would be value for money as he's not that old and works his arse off, also scores a goal or two and gets assists.

Either him or if it's a big transfer I'd shill out for Maxi Rodriguez from Athletico.

If we're talking left side I think Matty Taylor at Bolton is severely underrated, great crosser, can fizz a shot in and a wicked free kick taker.

Maxi is a class player, im with you on this 1 mate though i would guess at least 15 million for him, that would be our transfer kitty gone

  7. We should concentrate on the cup now, the games against Villa and West Ham will be cruical, win these two and we should be ok for another top 6 finish.

Suddenly the draw against United dosent look too bad for me, i wouldnt fancy playing Arsenal at the minute and Chelsea are better now with Essien back.

I quite fancy our chances against United at Wembly

  8. Very hard to choose a star performer, they all were superb, Pienaar in my opinion is a gem, and i hope we keep hold of him in the summer, i think he would be well suited in the middle of the pitch rather than wide, holds the ball well, rarely gives it away, good skill and good creativity.

Pienaar for me, thou Jo and Mo both had their best games for us in my opinion, and Osmans best show for some time

  9. if your gunna travel to st james you might as well go to london. can get their much easier, and more of us could go.

cardiff is a good shout though

why should all the big events be played in london, two northern clubs, so our game should be somewhere in north.

i live in the north east, so st james would suit me down to the ground :D

  10. neither

i said footballers are relativly cheap when you compare the salaries to other sports, for example,

    Kobe Bryant, Bsketball

    O'neal, Basketball

    Rossi, Moto GP

    Rodriguez, Bseball

    Tim Brady, American football

    Carson Palmer, American football

not to mention Formula 1 drivers, top golfers,

if you follow these sports youll know where im coming from,

no sport justifies the money that players recieve

just to give you all an example>

frank lampard £150000 per week or £7.8million per year

alex rodriguez $21000000 per year since 2001, currently earning $28000000 per year, and is contracted with the new york yankees untill he 41 (2017)

  11. Nited24 ....Footballers are relatively cheap when you look at other sports.

I dont think you read my post properly, or was it that you contradicted yourself in subsequent posts. ??

Any footballer who can become a millionaire FIVE AND SIX times over for playing one season in the premier league, is not as you put it "Relatively Cheap". ;)

I also said that compared to what some other footballers are earning, Jags deserves his 40 grand
