  1. Amazing goal from Molyneux. Likes been said, wish the first team had as much passion in the derby as them boys. Never seen a restart been taken while a teams celebrating before. Typical gamesmanship from the shite
  2. Not sure if these are old but I've not seen them before
  3. The worlds biggest club, Madrid's debts have long been as legendary as their players
  4. Thing that pisses me off so much with Hibbert is when he recieves a pass he sems to take an age to release it by which time the opposition has reorganised themselves. Then he boots it up the line and if were lucky it stays in play. Basically he doesn't have a quick footballing brain and can't read the game. Even if people argue back and say he's a good defender who can get stuck in, there's shit loads of players in any league who can do that but you need to better all round to play in the premiership. Pass the ball would be a start
  5. I was ready for a real proper backlash when I started this post. Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks he's fuckin useless
  6. Just can't see the reason why Moyes picks this lad. I know he's a born blue but for me he's the poorest full back I've seen here and I just can't see what the fans see in him. Okay, he shows comitment but imho he's shite. One good game against elano don't make him great. Much prefer to see pips at right back, not a big fan of his either and a manc through and through but someone who'd run through a brick wall for us
  7. It's gotta be either sefton CC or Cheshire CC. The left arm don't know what the right arms doin'. Where abouts in Maghull you livin' Jimmy if you don't mind us askin'?
  8. The only real positive I can take from today is it can't get much worse
  9. couldn't have said it any better Jimmy. You could see on the faces of the reds faces after the whistle that it was just an easy day at the office. They've been fortunate to come up against us and the mancs who have just not been arsed to play
  10. passionless yet again. Thought Moyes would know by now what a derby game means to the locals. The Yak was crap yet again, can't the lad stay on his fuckin feet
  11. Can't quite explain it but we've always had the knack of ending players goal droughts or teams poor run of form. If this game was played early next year when the shite start to falter then I'd say we were in with a chance but am afraid I just can't see it tomorrow. I would love nothing more than to eat my words trust me
  12. He's only played a few games as Berbatov has for the mancs and he's done fuck all there so far as has Robbie Keane at the shite and these fellas are in their mid to late 20's and have experience of the premiership so it's far too early to judge a young lad who's living in a foreign country. Only time will tell but I reckon he'll come good.
  13. I really hate saying this but as neither an optimist or negative and being a realist I think the shite will win. Have been disappointed with the players attitudes in derbies during Moyes Reign. The shite seemed to want it more and I can't work that out. If a teams has better technical players then they need to be cancelled out and be ready to nick a goal
  14. Sorry, meant his set pieces were crap for a lad of his quality. I think every corner didn't clear the first defender. Just not the usually high standard we expect from him
  15. Agree that Arteta would serve a better purpose down the flanks than through the middle. One of his strong points is enticing the full back to challenge him and 9/10 wins a free kick, as well as great crossing (crap on Thursday), couldn't see him being as effective through the middle but give him over pienaar anyday even just for the fact he don't have pigtails
  16. Looks a good formation and one were we'll concede a few goals but we'll score a few too, more hopefully
  17. Disagree with you mate about Pienaar. I always look at our players and think which ones would get in one of the so called big 4 sides and no offence but I can't see Pienaar getting in any of them. There are players such as Cahill, Arteta, Jags, Yobo, Lescott (the one from last season) and perhaps the Yak who could break into the 'top 4' side albeit first team or fringe players but couldn't see Pienaar getting in them even though he was linked to Arsenal. Don't get me wrong the lad can play some good creative stuff but you need to do it in most games to be good enough to play for us. Agree he's better than Osman though, a lad who plays with his heart on his sleeve but doesn't have the quality of some of his comrads
  18. I think I must be the only one here that isn't a big Pienaar fan. Don't get me wrong, I think he's a good player but not a great one and Everton FC imo should only have great players or potentially great players i.e. Kids
  19. I think it suits Cahill to come from deep and unmarked to get his goals. Just couldn't see him suiting his game if he was a marked sriker. Could see him getting frustrated being marked and knowing Tim, end up with a few red cards
  20. Am sure it's crossed Moyes mind to drop him but whereas some of the others would knuckle down and put in the extra effort if they were dropped, it may affect his confidence thus achieving the opposite. Don't know the lad so couldn't say
  21. Arteta for me. A bit more confidence at taking shots rather than always trying to be the provider then we'll have our own answer to Lampard IMO
  22. Can't see Moyes going to Newcastle. He's one of the few managers around who could withstand the pressure of being in a one city team but it's clear to see they're a managers graveyard. The only time I'd be worried is if Strachan left Celtic
