4 mill is a good shout if he was fully fit, not sure when he is back but i dont think we can afford to be spending 4 mill on a player that we dont know will fully recover. Agreed he would make a good addition to our very thin squad, however given the apparent lack of budget we need to explore players that can come in a improve our squad straight away.

I loved watching the first day Did England get on the piss the night before or are Australia just that good?

He was very good going forward in the river plate friendly. But that was mainly because our guys were scared stiffless of getting injured and he stood out for his bravery.

Buying Reyes would mean that we could play Pienaar on the right and put Osman on the bench. Great Idea in my opinion. This way we wont need to buy a right winger.

As an Australian I don't see why people say he is shit and has a bad attitude? If he was shit and had a bad attitude would he be captain of West Ham or Captain of Australia? He can play CB or RB and with Jagielka injured and Hibbert being shit as always, I think he would be a good signing. I watched the game and was disappointed but proud like most. However, I can't believe how weak as piss Chelsea were. Falling on the ground and holding their legs when no one even touched them. I play U/16's and no one I play with goes down as easy as that and I have 5 girls in my team! The most disappointing part was that Pienaar was doing it as well. Someone should tell him to toughen up and become a man or piss off.

I highly doubt that we will be getting Defour in the summer. According to this website, Arsenal and Aston Villa are after him..... and they rate him at 10 mill! Would Everton even be prepared to pay that?

I think we will break a deal with City they sell us Jo aslong as we dont show an interest in Love. They would be a great partnership but we would have to sell alot more than the Yak to fund those two upfront.

I agree but I think we could also sell Anichebe. Add that to the transfer budget we get (If we get one...) and we might have enough for Jo and a quality winger. We play a 4-5-1 most of the time anyway so whats all this crap about having 2 really good strikers in the starting 11? just need Jo up front and Cahill not too far behind. 2 strikers aren't essential. Saha and Vaughn can work off the bench.

The West Ham and Australian Captains contract is up at the end of the year and we could get him on a free transfer. He mainly plays at right back but can also play centre back and in my opinion would be better than phil neville or lars jacobsen or tony hibbert. He is 30 but i think he has 2 or 3 good seasons left in him and on free transfer hes worth a chance.

We should try and get David James in the summer! With him in goals and Jags at centre-back no easy goals would be handed to the opposition. By the way im only kidding around i am a huge fan of Jags and he has had a great year so far.

I really wish we were getting him in janurary. he kicked a hatrick for cska in the uefa cup and looked upstoppable.

Pienaar had a great game against man utd and Yak had a shocker as usual. So bring yak on for last 25 or so minutes. That should make him hungry.

I actually thought Hibbert had a great game. he made plenty of crucial tackles and his passing was accurate.
