  1. no! I was gutted, I sat there past midnight and all I could get was baseball bollox and rallying! I google searched and found that TVU removed ESPN2 from their listing. B*stards!

Might be handy for when the Prem starts though, there are a few sports channels that might show the games on a saturday.

  2. pathetic isn't it, what is the point in him saying that now other than to try and undermine Moyes and Everton as a club. If he was a true blue he'd keep his fat mouth shut and get on with his life. What's more insulting, is if he thinks blues are going to swallow this sh*te and believe it wasn't for the truck load of money they offered him. F*ckin Kn*b Jockey, he's got a face you could punch for a week.

  3. Good to see Turner get a run out last night, but I have to say, how many brain cells does Richard Wright have? If no one has seen it yet, Wright got injured in the warm up. He went to tip a cross over the bar and as he landed his heel scraped down a wooden A-board that was standing in the net. His heel went down it and then went over on his ankle and fell on the board. Nothing stupid in that, I hear you say, just an accident. So did I, until it showed what was written on the board. "Please do not use this goal for warm ups, use the temporary one." Considering we are one goalie short already, it wasn't the freatest timing for a f*ck up like that. What a muppet.

  4. Anyone listened to the latest podcast that came out on Monday? About 14 minutes in, they are interviewing Phil Neville about the Chelsea replay, and he says that Everton should feel optimistic about going to "Stamford Bridge after the first leg at Old Traff......erh Goodison."

Somebody give the lad a map.... :D:D:D

  5. Marriage is just like playing football...

    1. Ensure you’re fully committed every week

    2. Make sure you score every Saturday

    3. Don’t put your tackle in too hard or you may do yourself an injury

    4. No tackling from behind on your wedding night

    5. and most importantly......playing away from home can result in a serious groin injury and is certainly the quickest way onto the transfer market

  6. Also heard the rumour that Per was sh*te and couldn't deal with the ressie games, never mind the first team.

Also heard the rumour that we bought the wrong player, It was meant to be Daniel Agger that we wanted.....but surely they can't get the wrong club as well as the wrong player?!?.

Sounds like Li Tie and Li Wiefeng all over again!

  7. Anyone know where I can lay my hands on an option file for Pro Evo 5 that will get all the right kits, names badges etc? I've been scouring the web, but it keeps telling me I've got to buy a max drive or X-port, or chip my PS2. Anyone know if you can get it on a CD or something?

It's doing my head in playing with crap kits and badges!

    cheers for any help.

  8. I'm always of the opinion to aim higher OzDB, but the reality of the situation is that we are sat in 15th spot in the Prem with no European football to speak of. Hopefully this situation will have changed by the end of the season, but if you are aiming at getting someone in, in Jan, we've not got a lot to offer the big hitters. Look at the trouble we had trying to get players when we had champs league to offer, players of the calibre of RK and AJ are realistic targets (I hope!)

  9. I agree with both sides here. You have every right to vent your frustration if you've paid your money and are not happy and it is the only way to directly get across to the players that they have not played to their ability, but come the next game, if the player is of the mentality that if he makes the slightest mistake he will get booed, he will go missing for most of the match. We've seen it with Pistone, Hibbert, Faddy, even Yobo at times.

At the time it may seem like a good idea, but in the long term it will only have a negative affect on the players.

In all professions you will have someone who gets on your back for one reason or another (usually your boss), well imagine 40,000 of them telling you you can't do your job properly and see how you like it. And yes, I know they get paid sh*tloads of money, but no amount of money in the world is going help them mentally, it is confidence that is priceless.
