  1. Easily Cahill. As the Liverpool manager even said himself.
  2. Yeh i hope Arsenal beat Everton. I hope we get the relegation spot. Is that what you want? Arteta is taking a pay cut to play for another club.If you love Everton, more money here should be enough to make you stay. He must have hated the place.
  3. Read up on it several websites are reporting the wage cut. Oh no wait. Sorry. Mikel is a God. Go Arsenal. Arsenal. Is that what you want?
  4. Good luck on the bench Mikkel. And enjoy the pay cut. You got lucky a lot of the time. Not hard to score a penalty. Remember last year when you went missing for long periods at the start of the season and the season before. Good riddance.
  5. So dissapointed to see Beckford leave, i actually rated him.
  6. Hes nothing but a bench warmer there. Maybe last 10 mins in Champions league football.
  7. No its not. Shows how much he wanted to leave. I can understand if they doubled his wages. But it is a disgusting move.
  8. We still have Fellaini to, more than enough power in the middle of the park. It wouldn't suprise me at all if we finished around 6th.
  9. Baines is one of the best dead ball specialists and crossers in the world. And check out what Cahill did against Vidic in the world cup. And world cup before vs Japan. etc etc. Artetas corners and free kicks were over rated. And he went missing for large portions of each games. Baines is fine to score penalties now.
  10. Its not all doom and gloom we still have some world class players. Howard, Baines, Jagielka, Cahill. We have enough there to avoid relegation. Mid table finish coming up.
  11. Wenger loves both these guys. With the latest drubbing don't be suprised if some solid bids come in for either. For prices which we are forced to accept. Even someone like Heitinga would be needed there, someone with balls and heart.
  12. Baines for me. His average games are still good. Cahill we missed until he came on. He was brilliant for a short time.
  13. Oh my Lord. Some people are saying Fellaini. That is why we must not take these votes seriously. Fellaini played like dog shit. And whoever said we controlled the middle of the park is dreaming. QPR had the middle for the entire game. We were appaling. My vote for Jagielka stands. A perfect assist. Well done Phil.
  14. Phil Jagielka for me. He worked very hard. Set up the first goal with a beautiful touch and move. Outstanding today from the England international.
  15. Don't you think its a bit crazy that English internationals automatically command a high transfer cost just because they play for England? When in reality no disrespect to England, the national team has struggled for a long time. Australia has had similar performances at the last two world cups. And possibly better overall considering the Asian Cup runners up place, so does that mean Australian players should be automatically such a high price on the transfer market? Just seems a bit crazy to me, that all England players command high prices. Considering the English national team is not a major power at the moment, and hasn't been for a long time. Lets say for example Uruguay, who is a major power at the moment. Consistent in the major competitions. Does that mean their defenders should be going for $15 million Euros +? Well one of their best defenders was sold for 6 or 8 million Euros last week. This is not a bait thread at all. No disrespect intended.
  16. Towards the 2nd half of the game today, while we were playing poorly, finishing poorly i mean. And doing stupid things. I came to realize we would be in a relegation battle, or at best we will finish mid table. Now i hope we can keep our big players. But the reality is this. No player manager is going to want Arteta or Cahill playing for a club battling relegation, when they could be snapped up by more successful clubs with more money. E.G if an agents player sticks with a struggling club and plays poorly, chances are they end up in the lower divisions. So i think the last few years we have done well. But players like Arteta and Cahill want more. I think we may see them move onto bigger clubs at the end of the season. Now where are we if we loose these two? How could we possibly stay up without them? Sigh.
  17. From everything i have seen this year it isn't up to Premier League Standard. Pienaar is soft in defence and rarely tracks back. If he does, he rushes in. Fellaini is strong in the air. But as soon as its on the deck he is clueless hes always rushing in to. And Rodwell, well he just doesn't defend. Its dissapointing and i see this as our major problem.
  18. Timmy. Smacked a nice header off the bar. Worked tirelessy in defence and his long balls were on song today. Wanted to give it to Distin thought he was solid for long periods but then he has brain snaps. Also thought Coleman was close. So Cahill MOTM. Distin 2nd and Coleman 3rd. It seems a lot of our players don't want to be there. A lot of the midfielders don't track back. Its quite depressing. I was gutted by todays performance.
  19. I thought once again Baines was awesome. Fellaini was great to, which makes our team so much more dangerous when hes playing well. I have been critical of Cahill lately but i think he deserves man of the match here. Everything he did was flawless. He put Beckfords goal on a plate for him it was practically a tap in and he always seems to deliver in the big games. Great effort by the Toffees. Thought we could have even got 3 points.
  20. Cahill easy tonight. Scored 1 and had 2 cleared off the line. Easily our best. Baines was very good to. No way did Pienaar deserve man of the match.
  21. I thought Coleman was great. So was Pienaar. But Pienaar faded badly towards the end. Whereas Cahill got stronger as the game went on. Distin was also good, but i blamed the first goal on him and Arteta.
  22. Coleman obviously gets MOTM. But Cahill did a lot more then that. Hater!
