  1. No I don't think he would. He offers little going forward himself and gets caught out of position to often. He is as much a problem as Osman and we need to replace him if we want to kick on. I want Naughton from Sheffield United for RB and Elia from Twente to go on the wing. I'd be fucking delighted if that happend... it wont... but a man can dream.

Completely agree, heard alot of Naughton recently, sounds very promising! Another cheap option, has anyone thought of Justin Hoyte at Boro? now they're down, they may need to gain some money back. He was quality first half of the season, unfortunately when he dipped, the team dipped and it began an uphill struggle after that? Elia tho....immense! still want Mout tho :)

  2. I just went on bluekipper and the home kit looks brilliant IMO. The away kit is a bit different, but refreshing nonetheless.

    Here are the pics:

I'm now just waiting for the away shirt...i love it :) hopefully its the same as above!

.....i bet it'll have fuckin wavy lines tho :thumbsdown_still:

  3. Hi to everyone .....new member but not new reader.

I thought it looked terrible when it was 1st leaked a while ago, but the pic of Saha in it looks good.

I know the white "V" is quite big but I dont think they would actually go like for like with the 84 kit.

It is growing on me....... :)and the training gear on the site is good too :D

I just had a look, some of it looks a bit wacky...bit kiddie? Whats with the squiggly line on most of the tops lol

  4. According to this (http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11979_5244802,00.html) Tim Howard won the goalkeeper vote.

And if they took the position a while back Robert Green was winning....van der Sar has never been in the lead (or even close to it) since I've been looking, and that's since it was posted here.

    Fix!

Well done for the rest though Taxi and everyone else :D .

like i said it would hav been fixed in some way, they couldnt have possible of had 5 Everton players in Team-of-the-season....thats looony!! <_<

  5. The white socks and white shorts are traditionally Everton's preferences. A few years ago people were kicking off because the socks were black and blue hoops.

Yeah i get that Louis, i would normally prefer white shorts, but with the kit we've seen would blue shorts look better? Originally thats why i put 'that i knew it sounded stupid' askin the question

The black shorts were only introduced because of the mothers moaning of grass stains ;)

  6. I'm in the minority here, but I like it!

I know it sounds stupid Jamie, but do you think people dont like it because there is too much white? and actually as a whole kit, would look nicer with blue shorts instead of the white?

also: Is it me or is the shirt a lighter blue?

  7. Nani (Has fallen way out of favour for 1 reason or another, he's quick, can score and good feet technically) or JS.Park (Ok he plays in Europe but doesnt start for many league games, a guranteed place in th eleague with us, works his ass off, has pace and can score)

One of those two would be good!

  8. Earlier this season, well after the Wigan away game to be exact, I posted a rather scathing verdict (and I was hardly alone) of a disastrous performance and questioned where are season was heading.

At the end of the post I also questioned the input of Steve Round and pondered was it the players getting used to his way or the other way around and whether or not he could cut the mustard at Everton.

I am delighted that I, in ways, have been proved wrong and it appears that Steve Round has contributed immensely to the strong second half of our season.

This may also be in evidence in the atrocious season that Newcastle United have had, maybe missing the input of Round, culminating in their relegation.

David Moyes obviously holds Steve Round in great regard and it appears that they have gelled well as a coaching pair, true Round is not an animated character but maybe that mix of Moyes' touchline animation and the calmness of Round, it reminds me a lot of Wenger and Pat Rice, will form a great team and lead us to greater glories.

I agree, i never really thought of it like that, but it would seem to have had an impact on them!

    DM...have you watched any games on Setanta? they're biased c***s. Ive had a rant on here a while ago about Craig 'The Kopite' Burley. He's an idiot, and im not the only who thinks so;

  10. The impression im gettin from the Leeds forums is that they're really not impressed with all the bigger clubs, having easy access to all their youngsters, including Delph. They feel that Leeds, as a board, aren't lookin to the future and are willing to make the quick buck. Garbutt has been given some great reviews, whether we could get him here soon, i dno? one for the future tho :)

  11. As a Cardiff fan, I'd happily have Vic here, I'm sure he'd flourish in the Championship.

And Ledley coming to Everton? Well, he hasn't got the same spark as he did in previous seasons, but he'd still be a good acquisition. Let's be realistic, we're not going for a Fellaini purchase this summer, we're getting cover, squad players. Ledley may be pricey but he's young and he's still pretty talented. He wouldn't break the first team on arrival but if Ossie or Peanuts was injured he could step in, and he'd definately get a run out in the Carling and FA Cups next year. So why not?

We need a side midfiielder anyway.

Is that the sort of player we want tho? As a Cardiff fan aswel Reg, your one of few people who cud tell us how good he is, but not bein able to get into the 1st team, is a step backwards for me. We need to be pushin players like ossie onto the bench and lettin him maybe get the run-in's throughout the cup!

  12. The more the talk. The less likely its gona happen! I think Sporting maybe right tho, i think politics have got a massive say, you couldnt see the AC Milan elect selling Kaka', Pato, Pirlo, Ronaldinho oor Flamini before the elections. And its the same with Sporting. Veloso is pretty much gone, Liedsons has had amirers and Moutinhos always going to be linked with people, he's class. So i doubt that all 3 would go, let alone 2..........i just dont know. It depresses me! haha.
